Why Khushi is not a cutie pie?

Why Khushi is not a stereo type TV cutie pie …A cute adorable girl who speaks & behaves in a proper manner, her sweetness makes her lovable to all…Why have cvs brought a little girl in Ashu Nidhi's life who is just opposite …the way she talks isn't in keeping with her age…..many are displeased with her rude manners ….Even Ashu Nidhi are quite in the dark about the girl's past…

However, cvs know how to create drama & progress the story ahead... if Khushi were a cutie pie then she would captivate Nidhi at once by her sweetness , then no dramabazi & Nidhi won't have enough reason to object Ashu's suggestion of adopting Khushi…Through taking care of arrogant Khushi she will get to know the difficult job of child rearing , hence she won't agree taking up Khushi's responsibility , & will deny Ashu's proposal …May be after many rough & tough days with Khushi she will discover that in spite of her all rudeness, she is a sweet kid, eventually she will develop soft feelings for khushi , start liking her company & will get attached to her, thus she will get a taste of motherhood & a motherly feeling may creep in her mind… by handling wild Khushi & work simultaneously she will also know how to balance her work, family & a kid, such experience will only enhance her confidence …moreover while going through this process she will realize the reason of Ashu's craving for baby…

KP ji has given a logical explanation in this regard," Khushi will help Nidhi understand AShutosh's past & his need for belonging to a real family"…. Think watching Khushi Nidhi will understand how a bad circumstance destroys a person's positive aspects, make him/her bitter, thereby she will realize root cause of Ashu's agony, his hidden darkness, which he couldn't get over till now..May be his own blood could liberate him from his past anguish…will give him true identity...

One may think why did Ashu bring another fire-ball to test Nidhi's patience, which may snatch their peace & lead them on the brink of another major fight. Well, Ashu is always oversensitive to orphans because of his past… an orphan girl Khushi only reminds him of his own miserable plight in his childhood..Bringing khushi home was just consistent with his way of thinking ...If he hadn't brought khushi home, left the girl on the street with her injury & hunger, no place to go...Then it would have been a very unAshu type behavior.. we would have furious with him...

Coming to the fire incident, since Nidhi leaves Khushi at home alone, she is also responsible for the unexpected situation, she could have dropped her off at CV's house or shouldn't listen to the girl & forced her to come along with her…this the first time she faced the dilemma of a working woman(mother), surely she will learn a lesson from this incident & come up a solution to combine child care & her job... Hope Ashu Nidhi pass this test & keep their bonding solid rock.

Good post Rozaji!! But, I am tolerating Khushi just because she has been brought to the show - nothing else. KPji is experimenting the track and viewers like me are getting annoyed with his Khushi... However much I try, but, I can't at all connect with this Khushi ever since she has entered the show... I have seen some orphan and destitute kids, but, none of them has ever been like this brat... Nidhi rightly called her a chuhiya... truly irritating and good for nothing... It's not that since she doesnt look cute from any angle, she seems annoying, but, even more annoying is the way she talks and behaves -- as if she obliges others for whatever she is doing 😡 Even the children to their own parents too are very very understanding in this generation. They happily adjust with parents' busy schedules and dont throw tantrums. This girl is just like... 😡 Kab talegi yeh bala yehan se...
As far as, "making Nidhi realize Ashu's yearning for child" is concerned, I dont understand why KPji is beating around the bush always... Right from the beginning when AshNi had conflicts over baby planning, everyone feels the need of heart-to-heart talk from Ashu to Nidhi over this issue. Ashu needs to open up to his girl once, she is very very understanding and loving wifey. Will surely understand everything... no need to give her a crash-course of handling brats... 😲😡

When RTE came into act we parents were called by school principal and were warned that our children will come in contact with children who use foul language and with little respect towards elders...
and this is exactly what is happening my son tells me there are children who behind their teachers back tend to abuse them and use language similar to that of Kushi...but not all of them...
also there are street children who use similar language and if you refuse to help them they do abuse...
it's good to see Kushi doing all this so that we realise how important education is for these children and how irresponsible is our society towards them and our government...
instead of setting up schools and other institution for them they are busy filling their own pockets...
so lets wait and see how this track unfolds its a nice track..for Nidhi to understand Ashus needs...

Nice post, Roza

But I don't get why we have to try so hard to justify or defend a child...I mean she is a child at the end of the day...a child whose circumstances we still have no clue of...we don't know where she was born, what circumstances she grew up in, why she is what she is...and yet we are sitting in moral judgment over her...over her lack of manners, lack of gratitude and what not...since when did we start being so harsh on children...

However, I am very happy for KPji...this was the purpose of the track...and he has succeeded hugely in achieving what he set out to,,,he wanted to dislodge people from their comfort zones,,,,

I do not find Khushi unusual or peculiar...and, if I may so, it does not have only to do with her background...I have a niece who is the same age as Khushi who speaks just as much...granted her language is more refined and of course she speaks in English...so she is applauded for her being so knowledgeable at such a young age...

What is so offensive about Khushi anyway...all that she says are things that she has clearly picked up from the adults around her..I work with a group of slum kids...we use theater as an intervention mechanism with them...the children range from the age group of 10 - 18. We divide them into groups and ask them to perform role plays on topics of their choice.

One group of ten year olds put up a role play on domestic abuse...the husband, wife and the children were all beating each other and abusing each other using the vilest of terms...

Another group enacted a scene from a local bar,,,,,how adults drink, abuse each other and then embarrass themselves...

Do we then decide these are not children? Should we shun them and say they don't belong to us...

I am sorry but this is just my point of view...not directed at anyone or to hurt anyone...I have remained silent for the most part...but your post gave me the opportunity to share a few thoughts...thank you, Roza!

Good post Roza! Agree, that is the ultimate goal - getting Nidhi to gain some insight into Ashutosh's hidden feelings about his childhood, and her growth as a woman & her realization of her internal motherly instincts. Let's see how it plays out.
