@ bold, I felt the same...now a days whenever I listen his ghazal "mili hawwa me udne ki wu saza yeaado, ke zameen ke rishto se me kaat gaya yeaado " from album Sajda it makes me cry, saach me duniyake sade rishto se wu khaat gaye ...I became Jagjitji's fan in mid 80s when someone gifted me his Royal Albert Hall live concert Album, after that I collected Jagjit Chitra's very first Album (I guess) "unforgettable" , then ghazals from movie Aarth mesmerized me... I religiously love his ghazals...I love chitraji's high pitch voice too but sigh ...she sang some good bangla songs too...good to share some thoughts with you n Deba about our fav Ghazal singer.

Love Jagjit Singh (and Chitra Singh) - have most of his/their albums. Sajda, and others are so wonderful!! Love Amol Palekar also. I would only watch art movies in the 70s/80s/90s. Then after started watching commercial movies. RIP Jagjit.
