I personally would want ashu to be there but as pointed by many sources ph may remove ashu's character. At the end of the day we were ASHNI fans if that has been removed nothing much remains in this show to watch 😭 what say?? and it would be like being back to square one and what abt mallika, suhasni, aditya ,armaan they were due to ashu's character... nidhi wld prefer rohan rather than other old man again, then why KTLK??? personally i wld love ashu to be there and plz no new character bcos at the end of the day i started watching this show for ASHNI and not for _NI chemistry

for me ASHNI will be forever😃

My assumption is this...

I am just wondering how it will be if...

Ashutosh falls into a lake and 'dies'.

Nidhi is caught unawares and comes to know about the engagement with Rohan. Rohan and Nidhi have a secret understanding that when Ashutosh comes back, they will call it off. To avoid the temporary confusion they get engaged.

Ashutosh never comes back. Nidhi assumes him to be dead and cries for a few days. Then with her family pestering her she marries Rohan. They have a kid..story moves forward by 5 years.

One day Nidhi is out shopping with her kid and she hears a familiar voice calling out to her...she turns and sees an elderly man but is unable to recognise him...and no marks for guessing who it is...it is Ashutosh!

Nidhi: Aap zinda hain?

Ashutosh: Haan Nidhi...tumhare pyar ne mujhe marne se bacha liya.

Nidhi :

Not that this is nice or anything...but if they are going to kill Ashutosh and bring another guy to play him, this is probably how they might think of doing it.
