BODY B A S I C S I prefer the lean to muscular look ... says actor Vishal Malhotra as he reveals his fitness mantras MY EXERCISE REGIMEN I do weight training three times a week and cardio at least five times a week.This routine works in totality for me.The most important part of a healthy lifestyle are your diet and workout.Your work out time has to be proportionate to your diet and I have learned to manage that through my mix of cardio and weight training.I used to play tennis though I havent been able to recently,but I want to get back to it hopefully soon.I prefer a lean body instead of a muscular one as I feel a lean body looks much better on screen for my body type.It is important to take care of your body as its the centre of who you are. MY PROBLEM AREAS Thanks to my genes I dont tend to put on weight on any one particular body part.I guess the one problem area would be my face,because I tend to put on weight pretty quickly on my face.I have a sweet tooth and have to control and compensate with cardio. MY STRENGTHS My triceps are my strengths and I would say that it comes naturally and has been gifted to me.I used to be a national level swimmer about 10 years back and swimming also helps with your triceps. MY DIET I restrict myself to three teaspoons of oil in the entire day.I am a non-vegetarian though my diet also includes lots of fruits,vegetables and juices as they are essential for the body.I try to eat every two hours and my basic plan is to never stay hungry so that you dont sweets and chicken fried rice and so,I much as possible.overindulge.My weaknesses are do try to steer away from them as As told to Debarati S Sen IDEAL CELEB BODY (MALE) Akshay Kumar as hes got a lean body with pure strength.He steers clear from steroids.
