Ashutosh entered the house to find a lot of new toys scattered on the floor and after passing the hurdles, confused, he reached Mayank's room to find him asleep in Her arms again...He hate it...Its getting over day by day as Mayank is getting more frank with her and to him...She is taking away the last relation of his from him

Nidhi was watching little tv that she put on Mute and was patting Mayank back to back...he was snuggling on to her waist and keep shifting...She was silently watching Cartoon Network as Tom & Jerry were on and for seeing this, Its not necessary to have music or what

Ashutosh hated to accept that he was amazed seeing her watching cartoons like a child and was smiling silently seeing Jerry playing pranks on Tom and Tom getting hyper but the fact again was there which made him come to reality...Uhh, Mayank is getting close to her

Nidhi lift up her eyes on feeling someone staring at her and found ashutosh...Not staring but glaring at her...She backed off seeing the anger in his eyes and carefully parted Mayank from herself and put him on bed...placing pillows beside him and turn to ashutosh

"Actually, Lizi said that she need to go back to her village as her daughter was in labour room...She asked me if i can look after Mayank for the day and i wasn't able to say No" Nidhi said explaining him as he came out of the room so Mayank willn't wake up and Nidhi followed him

Suddenly he turn to Nidhi who was silently closing the door behind and turn to him

"See Nidhi, I am thankful to you that you looked after My Son for a day" He emphysis on My Son as he continued...Nidhi felt a lump in her throat for a moment

"But I am back now...and i can look after him from now on...If you want you can go back" His tone was harsh but he was trying his best to make it look normal

"No problem...It was pleasure spending time with him...We both have a really sweet bond and anything for Mayank" Nidhi said with a weak smile...Ashutosh's anger was clearly shown on his face and hearing the bond thing...He lost that

"I don't want him to share any bond ith you...You understand that...He is mine and Mallika's son and let him better remain with Mallika's name...You got that" Ashutosh said pointing at her while tears start to build up in her eyes as she said

"He is special to me as He is your son...and...and... I love you Ashutosh..." Ashutosh froze with her outburst...She wasn't ready to keep the things in her heart

Ashutosh with rage hold her shoulders tightly and said... "You better get out from here and i never want you to be near Mayank or Me..."

"Thats the door" Tears spill from her eyes and she run from there...Ashutosh held his head in his hands and a moment later, hear the screeching sound of the car and sigh

It was difficult for Ashutosh to handle Mayank without Lizi...and Nidhi...

"Mayank, have Milk baby" He said putting the bottle nipple to his mouth but he kept crying

"No, ok ok...i got it...Mayank want banana...right...Mashed banana" he said Mashing the banana with the spoon in a bowl and then took it to his mouth but he kept crying, no matter how hard he was trying to calm him

He was ok till two hours, after he got up...but later, he seemed no sign to make him stop

**Ting Tong**

Ashutosh sighed and put Mayank in his walker and went to open the door

"Hey Bhai" Rohan said hugging Ashutosh while he hug him back

"Hey chotu" Rohan was seemed tired as Ashutosh was

"Oh, why Mac is crying?" Rohan said going upto Mayank and hold him up in his arms as he kept crying

"Don't know...i tried making him get his milk and made him eat mashed banana but he is not taking anything...Except, he is keep on crying and crying" Ashutosh said getting tensed

"Oh buddy, what happened...why you are making your father confused?" Rohan said to Mayank and take out his shirt from his Pajama and check his Napkin

"See, you bad bad boy...Bhai, his diaper need to be changed" Rohan said smiling a bit and made him lay on the board as he remove his diaper

"I am bad with kids" ashutosh said getting a new diaper from the cupboard and handover that to rohan

Rohan was quite this time...Ashutosh noticed that...before whenever ashutosh said something like this, the next reply from Rohan was normally "You should Marry Bhai" and ashutosh used to get all hyper...but this time he seemed tensed for another reason

After changing the diaper, Rohan put Mayank onto the floor as he start crawling...He still need to learn How to walk...Ashutosh take outr Red Bull from the refrigerator and throw it towards Rohan who catch that in moment but put it aside

"You seemed tensed Chotu...what happened?" Ashutosh said taking place infront of him...Rohan had closed his eyes as he was sitting in half laying position on the couch

"Nothing bhai...just coming from the hospital?" He said still closing his eyes

"Hospital?"

"Ya, remember that day i take you to a party...i made you meet Nidhi...she just got into a horrible accident" Ashutosh froze hearing that...He was shocked to hell

"Is she ok?" Curiosity can be counted from his tone but Rohan fail to noticed that

"She is in ICU...Her parents and brothers were hell divested seeing her like that...They never let her face any kind of sorrow...it was shocking seeing her connecting to the wires and those instruments while her face and hands were covered with bandages..."

"What doctors have to say?" after a moment, ashutosh found the courage to ask this

"Doctors said that the accident was horrible but its a miracle that she is surviving and got a little number of scratches...but still, next 14 hours are critical" Ashutosh felt broken...He was responsible, he really was...if he hadn't talk to her that badly and harshly...she must be there with her parents, having a happy time

"Bhai, i am going to take a nap...will see you later" Rohan get up and went to Ashutosh's room...He on weekends use to come to ashutosh and spend a whole day and night with him...trying to lessen his grieves but this time...he indirectly, gave him a reason to punish himself

"Shit, what is happening to this company?" Ashutosh said shouting at his employes and sit down on his chair with a bump...All left leaving him alone in the room as his eye fell on the framed picture of Him and Mallika

"My luck went away...Why you did that?" He said holding the picture in hand and hugged it, closing his eyes

***Beep Beep***

"Sir, Mr Yograj Vermais here...he want to see you?" The secretary inform him as he pushed the phone button

"I don't want to meet anyone right now...say him that..." He stopped feeling the phone of secretary being snatched by someone

"Mr.Mathur...your company is facing financial crisis...in this time, only its me who can help you" Yograj said with a determination and that attract ashutosh

"Ok, you can come in" Ashutosh said with a gasp and cut the call

"Mr. Mathur...i have a proposal for you" Yograj said entering into the room and sit infront of him

"Our companies can collaborate...Verma and Mathur enterprises...there will be a storm in fashion market..." Ashutosh look carefully at the man and got that there is something behind his statement

"So whats the deal, Mr.Verma" He said sitting straight

"You have to married my daughter...a contract marriage for two years...can you accept it?" Ashutosh was shocked with his words

"Look, I want you to not come to a conclusion without knowing the real reason...can i explain?" Ashutosh nod as Yograj got up and start

"I always wished to have a daughter...after Aryan and Ishaan, my two sons...the more i and Nandita wished was for her, but by God grace...after 4 years of Ishaan, we got twins...my two daughters...My family was complete with my Nidhi and Neha" Yograj eyes welled up...ashutosh noticed that

"We were happy in our lifes...we were eager to celebrate Neha and Nidhi's 2nd birthday when before a week, Neha died with Cholera" Yograj stop near the window as he look outside

Ashutosh felt bad for him...he get up and put his hand on his shoulder

"We never say No to Nidhi for anything later...Thinking might this way, we are also fulfilling the desires of our other daughter...Nidhi is life of our family and we really don't like hurting her, no matter what" Ashutosh regret thinking that he became the reason of hurting such wonderful parents

"On her birthday, The gift she demanded was you..." Yograj look up to see his response and found him listening to him carefully... and continued

"We all were thrilled knowing that...but there was no way for us except accepting her demand...I asked her to have a month so she can know you and think about her decision again...I don't know what happened between you two and i really don't want to know...the thing important to me is that my daughter is there, fighting with her life...just because of you..." Ashutosh look up at Yograj to find anger and furry in his eyes...He who was talking smoothly to him was now burning

"and i promise you Ashutosh Mathur...if anything happen to her...i am never going to leave you...this two years contract is too for her as if she really thought that you deserve her, i will let her go on with the marriage...but if you hurt her a bit...i promise, you and your company will all left a history and that's the promise of a father" Yograj Verma left leaving a stunned ashutosh behind

"Shy, what should i do...i didn't hurt her on purpose...its just i was scared, scared of loosing Mayank" Ashutosh said as after Yograj left, he straightly came to Shaina to whom, he knew, he can get his answer

"Ashu...listen" Shaina hold him from his shoulders and said calmly

"You hurt her, thats true...Mayank and she have a great bond, you can't deny the fact that if mayank can look up to find a motherly figure, it will be her..."

"But Shy" Ashutosh start but stop seeing her precise look on him

"Ashu, you can't live you whole life like this...you need to find someone with whom you can spend your life...i didn't said anything about this before because i was looking for a right time, and it is a time...mayank needs a mother, not a governance...and you need a partner, to share your life...as Mallika wanted"

Ashutosh look at her narrowing his eyes, shocked as he never heard anything like this before from her...Mallika wanted him to marry

"Mallika wanted?" He asked

"Yup, after she left you...a month later I got a mail from her...in which she asked me to promise her that i will make you move on in your life and marry and for me Nidhi is the girl who can complete your life, your home...your family" Shaina said seriously...She didn't meet Nidhi yet but knowing her care for Mayank and love for ashutosh...shy got that she is the one for him and she will definitely make him agree to marry her
