TRP and 'viewer friendly' scenes

Point👍🏼...Like Rabzonedge mentioned above...there is an audience for something if you show it in a nice manner...

If there is an audience for inane droolfests, there is also an audience for subtle, classy storytelling...but it depends on who even wants to bother catering to that audience...

Apparently NO ONE !

In 2008, I used to watch a K show called Kis Desh and was totally taken in by the perfection of the lead characters...and the TRPs too were going great...still they butchered the characters and the story and made it into just another regular show just after 6 months...Makes me wonder if its really about the TRPs or the lack of ability in telling a coherent story without any dramatics...

Anyways...I am only glad that I didn't have to wait for 6 months to let his one go...Now they might as well show Dr.Ashutosh getting bullied by Nidhi and slapping her in a moment of frustration or they both get lost in some jungle enroute to some so called medical camp and some barn romance happens...You know the typical 'youth' romance stuff...I bet that will make the show even more 'viewer friendly'...🤔

Barring IP.. no fallcatch eyelock shows are in top 10.. so why dun they given content n drama a chance..before pulling the plug n to this extent?? 😕

N both Nidhi n Ashu characters are completely butchered...! I dont see any Hardstone in Ashu n yet.. Nidhi ..wants to avenge .. something.. from Mr. Gabbar /Khadoos!! Wonder why? 😕

And yes, it is sad for KK that she has been plunged to these depths now when she showed promise in the opening weeks of the show...now toh her role seems worse than the worst of Arohi2 mode as well...lol...even KMH2 had a better script than this...lol...

Oh that was meant for the audience to know..whats coming .. if TRP baba is still not pleased.! Maybe then.. Ashu can do the drooling as well 😆

OMG!! No jungle scene man! 😆 Wont mind a medical trip though. See, these writers dont have much to do.. we are just asking for some simple scenes, thats it! When Anu mentioned the latter group of classy audience, I thought YRF productions would have done a better job.. even if their shows lack depth and are of stipulated time period, atleast they do justice to the show, irrespective of the trps or negative feedback.

I dont get the funda behind trps either. When the show had class, it got less trps.. and now when it is moving in god knows which direction, trps are shooting up 🤔 I was actually recommending this show to all my friends.. after the promo, I want to hide my face. 😆

Come to think of it maybe YRF might have done a much better job producing the show for Sony. All their shows on Sony have been awesome (Seven, Mahi way, Rishta.com).Loved all of them. But maybe Rajan Shahi will pull off a miracle too in terms of a good consistent story. After all everyone is raving today about Bade Acche lagte hain, which is an ekta show on Sony.

'viewer friendly'???? These days the script looks 'kid-friendly' than anything else! (8-12 yrs might really enjoy!!!)

The graph of this show (script wise) is having a rapid fall after such a good 1st couple of weeks and such good promos initially.

Great post, Shamil! Like someone else already said - you put my pheelings into words too :-)

If it were not for your post, I wouldn't even have bothered to write 2 lines on this show.

And another show bites the dust.

Fortunately I missed watching the episode which had the cold drink-shirt scene.. but reading about it itself is bad enough..

Why is Nidhi behaving like this towards Ashutosh?..Only because she saw him hugging Mallika?

Why does Ashutosh end up taking only Nidhi in his car and drop her home? Isn't Anjie also her neighbour?

I guess ours is not to wonder why, but to watch and cry.

In some other shows, one can possibly just focus on the main lead pair scenes and ignore the rest of the story, but here watching AN scenes itself will want to make you headdesk!
