Thoughts on Oct. 6th

Today's epi was really good. The show is frankly getting better and better with each epi and dare I say it but I'm warming up to it as it's own identity apart from Dhoop Kinare. The characters are now slowly growing on me in such a way that they warm the heart.

Literally every scene in today's epi had something heartwarming or interesting about it.

Nidhi's scene with the child in the children's ward...very sweet...and nothing OTT...well written and natural...the kid did a very nice job acting-wise and your heart goes out to him when he narrates his story...Nidhi definitely has a knack for bonding with children and this scene established that very well.

After this when Ashu catches her running around the ward with Shehenshah, that scene was well done too...He doesn't say a word but just gives her a solid cold/angry look. I loved Nidhi's reaction when she says, "Ab mujhe aapke office chalna hoga, right?"😆...the 'saiyaan' line there felt aptly timed as well😆 as Ashutosh continues to give her the cold/angry look.

I loved the Ashu-Nidhi scene in office as well...especially with the way he softens when Nidhi mentions the child is an orphan yet has so much himmat and the way she was describing him wanting his own IPL team...very nice undercurrents shown there as Ashutosh is affected by what she says but is still angry with her for her carelessness.

Nidhi's scenes with her family at home were very sweetly done too...the way they all try to pacify her but not in an OTT way...honestly I'm just in LOVE with her dad right now...such a sweet character...and even the cook was very sweet today...the bit when Nidhi finally melts as he offers to make her fav. onion paranthas and says I love you and blows kisses to him...lol...endearing bit...you can sense the warmth and affection b/w the family.


But the highlight of the epi is the Malika-Ashutosh scene when he drops her home...some FANTASTIC dialogues in that scene👏👏...It's a must watch in my opinion...such brilliant acting by MB especially...that entire exchange b/w him and Malika when she meaningfully repeats again and again that they can have more to their relationship and Ashutosh replies that "hum dono do tanhayiyon ki tarhan hain, agar mil bhi jaayein toh ek dusre ko tanhayee ke siva kuch nahin de sakte"...and the bit about how there can never be any hariyali in a registaan...superb dialogues by the writing team today👏...I also loved the "rishte ittefaq hote hain, magar dost hum khud chunte hain" line...and the 'yeh toh aise hoga jaise ek registaan dusre registaan se hariyali maang raha ho' line...ahh honestly every line in that scene is a GEM. Must watch scene.


And finally the ending scene b/w Nidhi-Anjie was very sweet too...I love how they both mother each other in a sense but are so bratty too😆...the way Anjie was feeding Nidhi today like Nidhi was doing yesterday...lol

i fully agree with u...great post...and u know what u r the only one here whose long long posts i seriously read...and i really found mallika ashu convo very great...great dialogues...i was confused whether to laugh or to be sad on that registaan one...

@bold: Bingo...that was indeed the best part about the epi...I'm liking the simplicity of the show...and the flow is getting better and better with each epi. All the actors did a very good job today. And yes, the Saiyaan was so well timed today that I also loved it😆

Yes today's episode was awesome and I agree the highlight is Dr. Ashutosh and Dr. Malika's conversation. The dialogues were too good today. I watched that scene twice already. Yes definitely superb dialogues by the writing team. Yes it is definitely a must watch scene.

I did not get to watch the entire precap but looks like the scene of Dr. A parking his car behind Nidhi's car is coming up and the scenes that follow after she gets to know he parked his car behind her are hilarious. 🤣

OK OK OK i know I will be killed by the dhoop kinaare fans.. but I am loving this show and I watched DK first few episodes i think I am warming up to this more.

But i guess for that time period '87 it ws def a ground breaking show in PK !

What dialogues.. what flow... everything fit like a pieces of a puzzle..!! 👏 The show was evenly spread out.. with equal footing to both Ashu n Nidhi...!! Agree with u the cherry on the cake today was the Ashu-Mallika Convo... i love... Rukhsar-MB interactions..they deffo come across as friends.. who know each other for long... !! I found Rukhsars... sudden... 'Electrician aur plumber se zyada ho sakte the' pretty Direct.. but Ashu.. countered it well with the 'Rishte' lines...! Not to give up.. Mallika pursued Ashu again n we got some fab lines..!!

Njoyed Nidhi-Anji bits too...!! Btw we got our first urdu word... 'Zehnaseeb' 😳

Word, Tanu! Word! The flow was just perfect today! It's like the show is finally settling into its rhythm after a slightly jerky beginning but they've picked up with each epi after that...and now I'm feeling warmed up to every character.

Nidhi really is veryyy endearing😆...I was so amused at the way she was wiggling under the beds trying to chase the kid as well😆...so yeah I was also dreading an OTT pakda-pakdi scene but they handled it sweetly...the direction is getting better now.

The girl definitely lights up the screen and I have to say the chemistry is getting better with each epi...both MB and KK do a great job in their scenes.

Yeah Rukhsar/Malika was quite direct in that scene but I guess that is the way they are showing her...a more direct version than Sheena...more 'modern' in her approach, perhaps?😆...but yes the entire back and forth in that scene was very well shown...fab acting by both of them.

Oh I loved the way Rukhsar said "Zehnaseeb" too!😆...Indeed we got our first urdu word...that's when I get DK deja vu in some ways too...lol

I also liked the brief scene of Ashutosh checking up on that guy and his wife in the ICU...there is such a compassionate side to his character too.
