Tanu Rukhsar is brilliant as Dr.Mallika! I mean have u ever felt any empathy for sheena??? I never felt sorry for S but with mallu its different. U really end up wishing that she has a happy future ( of course with some one else not A, lol). Its good that here they are going to show her family too

@sami- u r right; we will soon be seeing her obsession for A once N comes back to the hospital. But I am going to love it coz this will only lead to Ashni coming closer

And yes though I loved Rahil as Ahmer, MB makes u love A with a kind of passion

shamil is so true i simply forward that driver instructor scenes ..they are out of depth there..bua and family part is OK but i also feel lawyer uncle scenes also r becoming repititive..but i guess it Will change once nidhi's stupid dad looses everything to that cartoon partner of his about dilip kumar..even though he was awesome as Salim i think in that film too many people were better than him including madhu and prithviraj kapoor and yes he was so handsome in some of films like babul..my heart even skips a beat when i see him deeply looking in girl's eyes and smiling with his eyes daring her to confess what is in her heart...

@Shamil... MB had said .. he passed on the feedback about the cook-instructor plot... hence we r not seeing that track in a while..!! :)

@Sami ... beautifully put.. human being with a cold exterior...! I think.. one of the reasons.. (if one may try to rationalise) of Doc A never feeling the pull...(barring the ..ever eternal.. IT WASNT MEANT TO BE) ..is that.. Mallu has cast herself.. the way she suits A's temperament.. (Remember she told Nidhi on her last day..that she was just like Nidhi.. but somehow that.. Nidhi in Mallu wasnt strong enouf to sustain)

@Shamil.. .oh man.. Sheena.. gawwd.. i culdn figure the head or tail of that character...!! Most unconvincing part of DK.. really... I expected a lot from Badar Khalil.. given her pedigree.. but then...

thanks to monish on that aspect hated those driving scenes..they made me cringe...

yes sheena was kinda... but i think it was bec of fast pace of serial..its only tragedy of Pakistani serials they r too fast and so many angles r just left for viewers to figure out...in today's world of slow daily Indian soaps their pace is a relief but then they ruin everything with rushed end..i still haven't been able to figure out about a serial me skep and arwen watched and enjoyed its end was so not up to par with story no closure for central character of arfeen in meri zaat zara e benishaan...after that i have watched countless serials with same problem...but overall Dhoop kinare was awesome but i also love another soap of that era a 13 episode Indian serial called farmaan...the beautiful memories..

shamil so right mb brings a very different feel to ashutosh vs ahmer...they r both powerful and beautiful characters but ashutosh makes it bit easier for me to fall for him😉

did u say farmaan.. oh goddd... how i have been waiting to find someone who has heard about that.. show.. !! I freagnnn loved that.. show... Kanwaljeet. .hai...what an act.. 😍

i loved that show... n so many others of that era..

@sheena.. i felt badar played it a bit too stone hearted.. or the shaheera.. din add more layers to her character.. it was pretty one dimensional.. ! Rukhsars Mallika is more humane.. n easier to empathise with...

You know whenever he gives those slow shy smiles, he reminds me so much of Nutan. She too used to smile in the same way ... don't u agree?

Dr Mallika has so far remained distant. She has remained in a cocoon... safe and secure because she knows Dr A will view no woman from a romantic angle. She plays along with his moods. When he decides to end a meeting, she never disapproves ... she may give a parting shot but that's it. Perhaps she also knows that that is not the way to get around him. I hope she doesn't feel that one day Dr A will wake up and find himself in love with her. He is 42 and she is into her thirties. What hasn't clicked so far, may never click at all.

She has started resenting Nidhi because she (N) seems to get through to the Doc. Her haughty remark to the nurses that Dr A will never recall N was one evidence. On returning home, she finds her bro and his wife discussing her private life. She has not liked it since some truths were brought home. Then when she wants reassurance, she calls up Dr A only find to her horror that Nidhi is with him. Her face crumpling with despair was wonderfully acted out. She has not only realised that she has no sure future with him but that he may actually prefer someone else to her. She is really dejected because she has never really been of paramount importance to him. Maybe she has also finally realised that it is a one-sided love and that they were really not meant for each other.

I don't mind the grey shades the CVs give her but I hope they don't make a monster out of her. Let her remain refined and not become evil. Let them show her fighting for his love and not putting Nidhi down. I hope they don't make her want to ruin N's career in order to get into Dr A's good books.

Her asset is her ability to work like a clock and with great expertise. No one can replace her at the hospital. If she has confidence, she should give Nidhi a run for her money in that department. Setting the goals so high that N may never be able to match her. Let her play up her assets and go miles ahead. That will be tough competition for Nidhi. She can have both Dr A and N beholden to her.

I hope the CVs give her nuances and make Mallika a great character in the story. It's always interesting to see how a story unfolds with strong characters.

skeps dear yes he reminds me of nutan totally i am reminded of bandini and sujata...my fav nutan films...

he has that masumiat nutan had...

yes am liking him a lot skeps...i am liking the treatment kamlesh has given to him and to malika...

both r wonderful artists and both are given complex many layered characters...

nidhi is where they need to sit and work on and make the artist understand what needs to be done to get into the character...the girl seems talented enough...

Farmaan armu was a masterpeice... i loved amen bibi and her handsome nawab..kanwaljeet was just too good...

about malika...i agree completely skeps she shouldn't be made into a a monster...she can challenge nidhi in different way ...but i sincerely hope they don't show her jeopardizing patients lives just to make nidhi look bad...with CVs i am worried that they might be brainless enough to do so...

but ruksaar as artist is amazingly talented ..am impressed,she is pretty and very talented
