Actually they might not have a choice. If they support Shaheer, it becomes really hard to work with DB everyday (like Ruben). Plus everyone knows now that if you upset DB, she and her entire family will make a fuss and hold a press conference. Unless you are as strong as Shaheer, she can destroy your reputation and career. Even Ish, who had fired her on IG, had to beg for forgiveness (he sent flowers too) after she held a press meet about getting insulted by Ish and her fans started bashing him and boycotting the channel. Who would mess with a vindictive person like that for a guy they barely know?

I guess it is more like this... When he was with dB he was one of them embracing their culture and living like them. But now he is an outsider come there to earn money and fame. So even if they think he is right they may not have emotional connect with Shah... Which is okay .

From whatever I have learnt about Shaheer, he is not someone who will go out of the way to connect to someone for the sole purpose of promoting his movie - neither will he ask nor will he have any expectations- he believes in showing people through his work and actions - even when he is bashed so badly, he chooses to ignore it rather than giving explanations ( as he himself mentioned).
Whatever may be the reason for his Indian friends to come out in support of his movie, it must have surely made him very happy 😊

Even for his Indo colleagues- I don't think he has any expectations- he does what he feels is right and proper - so whether they promote or not - they must be having their own reasons - none of which has much significance in his life in my opinion
