I understand he was worried abt Sona that time but still...it wasnt upto the mark. But Sha was good in last scene with Eri. I felt Eri shud have shown more panic or worried n broken down.

Just to add Vicky is acting very well these days n his looks complements the negative shade 👏👏

Agree on sona's panic part. She should hv been more panic. These days cvs completely ignoring sona's character. They are giving horrible dialogues and not worthy scenes. Script is bad. Makers should think about their script.

I agree with u. The last scene felt rushed. Couldnt understand what was the need of the rescue track. If makers dont concentrate on devakshi they will lose the audience.

Yes , that's what I thought ...infact any lady in that place would have held on her husband tightly for sometime atleast...till her mind agrees that its all over and he is there with her...but that was so missing ...I felt that scene was rushed thru...or probably they will show that part today...not sure...lets see what happens today... 😊

Yes they both were very natural n their response was also very subtle. Just like u i was not expecting anything romantic or dramatic, so i guess we are saved from disappointment. 😆

I would happily disagree with all your points here Awasthy. Firstly we dunno whether that scene ended there or not. Today we may get continuation or may be not. Secondly that scene didn't looked forced to me. Dev came n did what was meant to do. Sona was scared, he saw it n beat the goons. Then he hugged her n assured that she is fine. N about Shaheer's acting, well that's your POV n i respect that, but for me he was superb even yesterday. If you have noticed he did his famous "gale pakdna" hug, which he always do when he is emotional. So for me, he did a great job.

Good to see there are some ppl like me. 😆 Oh yes his line mai kahi jane bhi nahi donga is a start of her protectiveness. N this sequence was build up for this track only.

I do feel Shaheer is not giving his best and there is a disconnect, not between him and Sona but in his entire acting for teh past few episodes. I was just watching that old episode where Suhana leaves for Kolkotta. Shaheer was simply brilliant in that episode. Just spot on with every expression. That's where I am feeling he is holding back. He is such a brilliant actor ki I feel he could do more and he has also, consistently. I am sure he is not well or something. I certainly don't think he is not interested. Acting is a very, very tough job and even small things can reflect on screen. He does look tired actually. Maybe that's it.
And yes, romance after that bus episode wud have been out of place. Both were scared and both were relieved to see each other and that they brought out beautifully, as always. But it did seem to me ki Sona ko bystander bana diya when Dev was thrashing the goons. She wud not have been thinking, cool headedly, ki Dev ko stop karo abhi because she had been so scared right before. The next scene was just brilliant and Shaheer showed what he is made of. The switch to concern about Sona, his tight hug as if he never wants to let go, the kiss on top of the head which is protective instead of romantic, all perfect, perfect, perfect. Yehi tho chahiye. I even forgot that I hate his hairstyle for those moments😆 .

And actually I think this thread is very decent so far, na. No one complaining about others. Sabke apne apne opinions tho hote hain but we all feel that Shaheer and Erica are damn good actors. I think the writers are underutilizing Shaheer of late, maybe because he is shooting for something else too?? Nothing wrong in airing opinions, I feel, as long as we respect that the actors and the crew have put in so much effort to entertain us.

You are right. The actor who plays Dev is just not interested and is just not giving his best. The problem is that he set the benchmark high. It is a treat to watch him in old scenes. He is effortless, looks good and made us feel for the character. Even when Dev was wrong one could not help but empathise with him. Now I look to see what other characters do.
I will take this one step further. Sona's was never as a brilliant an actress as Dev. He lifted her performance too. But now when his own acting chops are somewhere in the basement, Sona also comes off looking amatuerish and gawky in some scenes. She is able to pull up in Ishwari scenes but in Dev scenes she just falls flat like he does
Anyway am getting addicted to Korean Dramas. Superb
