If they are best friends she should have answered some of those tricky questions instead of avoiding them which in itself is a giveaway that there is something brewing between them. Also if it is just best friendship and nothing beyond that she would not have researched so much on Shaheer's interview with Raj. She remembers each and everything from his interview.
