Dev's Guilt

I was in no mood to make a post today but couldn't resist myself. So today we saw a Dev who was completely broken and shattered when he read Sona's emails. He felt guilty that he was not there with her when she needed him the most. Although, Sona will definitely try to reduce his guilt and will forgive him, Dev will not be able to do so. Only if Sona gets pregnant again, and he is there with her in this beautiful journey, where he takes her for her doctor's visits, takes care of her, fight with her for little things and most importantly, is there during delivery and after birth, will he be able to forgive himself in true sense. Till that time, Dev is going to live with this guilt.

Dev's favorite pass time is to get guilty I guess .Why should he feel so guilty that he can't forgive himself when he was the one who was wronged .He had left his family for her but it was her decision to leave him due to misunderstandings and she decided not to inform him about her pregnancy.

If Sona really wants to reduce his guilt without being selfish then she will own her mistake of not informing him and will feel sorry because of her Dev missed his daughter's precious life .

The way makers are showing it's like Dev disowned his daughter even before she was born

I agree with you that he shouldn't be feeling guilty. But, nothing can be worse for a father who was not there with his child during the growing up years. I'm not talking about who is right or wrong here. I'm just trying to decipher Dev's feelings.

Yes , you are right ...if he has to heal then he has to go thru that journey. He is feeling guilty because he decided not to call her back ...he is feeling guilty because he let her go.. when we fight our egos over power us...but later when we sit back and think about what happened...especially if its a fight with your loved one...then you wont see other persons mistakes you will realize your mistake and feel guilty abt it...

When he asked her to leave...he thought she wouldn't ...but she never thought he would ask her to leave ...her thought was , he just like other members of the family asked her to leave...both trusted each other to behave in a certain way and its that trust that collapsed and then it all they saw was darkness... no future in front of them...

Whose fault is it?? Both ...I would say...who should be blamed first...cant say that...its like asking who came first hen or the egg?? people will have diff answers to this question...

Past is in the past...but if they have to lead a happy life in future then Dev should open up abt his past...his DARK PAST ...he knows abt Sonakshi's 7 years thru mail...Dev should show the courage to open up ...even if its going to hurt her...else he is behaving the same way as he did to cover up her health issue...he will repeat his mistake ...and never know might loose her for life...

I loved the way CVs are unfolding the past ...its emotional ...both Shaheer and Erica has done a wonderful job!!

Completely agree with you!Always Dev has to be guilty for those deeds which he didn't commit at all!

Such deep wounds can only be healed by time n love. He need to spend more time with Sona n Soha to relive the past n make new memories.

Dev's guilt and Sona's loneliness is still pricking the heart...Why this had to happen to these two, who always wanted to make others happy...Why Why Why?
