Chapter 15
Mumbai
Sona & Shekhar reached Mumbai. Elena & her family were already there. Sona & Elena started their conversation about Elena's wedding & about Devakshi. Sona told her about everything that happened last day.
Elena : "Sona! Tujhe to pata hi Tha uncle aisa react karne wale Hain. Tujhe lekar kitne overprotective hain wo... Tu tension mat le. Dev unko impress kar lega. Uncle khud tum dono ki shadi fix karenge.
Sona : "Yeah! I know Dad maan to jaayenge, but phir bhi nervousness ho ri Hai. I just hope everything will be fine.
Elena : "Aisa hi hoga... don't worry.
Sona : "Ab is baare mein baad mein hi sochenge... pehle Teri shadi to enjoy Kar len.
Just then Sona's phone start ringing. Caller ID flashes Dev's name.
Elena : " Tu pehle isse baat Kar le. Miss Kar raha hoga tujhe.
Sona blushes & goes from there.
3 days spend in marriage preparations n functions . Both were very eager to meet each other. During functions, Sona was not getting much time to talk to Dev.But still they talk with each other whenever they get time.
On the wedding day, Sona was trying to call Dev from morning. But there was no answer. Firstly she thought that he might be busy... But he'll definitely call back. The whole day passed... but there was no phone call from Dev, neither he was picking up the phone calls. Sona was too scared. She was so worried for him. Now she can't wait for the wedding to get over. She just wanted to meet Dev asap. But she couldn't leave wedding like this.
After wedding
Next morning, when Sona was leaving Mumbai, then she received a msg from Dev
"Meet me in evening...
Sona : "Thank God! Dev ka msg to aaya. Lekin ye meri calls kyun nahi pick Kar raha. Koi baat nahi, ab Delhi jaake hi isse baat karungi.
Delhi
Sona & Shekhar reached their home.
Shekhar : "Sona beta! U remember na...
Sona : "Of course dad! Aaj aapko mujhe kisi se milwana Hai. & I'm 100% sure, aapki uske sath bahut jamne wali Hai... dekh Lena ...
Shekhar : "I wish so... I know Meri beti ne jisko bhi chuna hoga apne liye, wo best hi hoga. But as a father, mera tasalli karna to banta Hai na.
Sona : "Of course dad
In evening Sona went to meet Dev.
Sona : "Main na tumse bohot hi gussa hun. Call pick nahi ki... aur na hi call back Kiya. Pata bhi Hai... maine tumhe kitna miss Kiya. Aur tum ho ki... bas msg kar Diya, aur kaam khatm. Lagta Hai, tum mujhse pyaar hi nahi karte.
But Dev remain quiet.
Sona : "Ab chup kyun ho? Accha, Sorry baba... mazaak Kar rahi thi. Ab bolo bhi.
Dev : "Mujhse shadi karogi?
Sona: "Isme Kya poochna... Meri to kab ki Haan hai. Isiliye to tumhe dad se milna hai aur unko impress karna hai. Tabhi to hogi hamari shadi.
Dev : "Main aaj aur abhi Shaadi karne ki baat kar raha hun. Karogi mujhse abhi Shaadi?
Sona : "Dev! Tum Kya bol rahe ho? Mujhe bilkul bhi samajh nahi aa raha.
Dev : "Ismein complicated Kya hai? I'm just asking a simple question...Will you marry me.. or not?
Sona : "Of course, I want to marry you. But abhi Shaadi karne ki zid kyun kar rahe ho? Shadi koi bacchon ka khel thode hi hai. Bina apni families ko bataye hum aise kaise Shaadi Kar len.
Dev : "So it means, tumhari na hai? Tumhe mujhse Shaadi karni hi nahi hai.
Sona : "Dev! Please samjho to sahi.
Dev : "Maine tumhe simple sa question poocha... aur tumne bhi bata diya, jo tum chahti ho.
Sona : "Dev! How could you do this? You love me na... To kyun bol rahe ho aisa? I Love You... aur main sirf tumse hi shadi karungi... main bas abhi Shaadi karne ke liye Mana kar rahi hun. Aise kaise hum apni families ko Bina bataaye Shaadi Kar sakte Hain...
Dev : "Agar Shaadi karni hi Hai, to abhi karne mein Kya problem Hai...
Sonakshi, I'm asking you last time... shadi karogi? Iske baad fir mujhe mat bolna... Ki main tumse door chala gaya. You will be responsible for all this...
He got no response from Sona. She was crying.
Dev : "Soch lo Sonakshi, take ur time. I'm waiting for your answer...
After thinking for sometime, Sona went near Dev.
Sona : "Dev! I love you... pata nahi tum Shaadi ke liye itni jaldi kyun kar rahe ho... Kya hua hai aisa. Lekin haan, I trust you... main tumhare sath kisi bhi raaste par chalne ke liye taiyaar hun. To fir shadi konsi baat Hai... agar tum chahte ho, to hum abhi Shaadi karenge.
And she hugs Dev.
Then they went to a temple for marriage rituals...
