i dont even understand why anybody would wanna be with dev the 1950s stereotype of an alphamale university frat boy man-child who never graduated but hey to each their own. (gross**shudders 🤢) but sona clearly has some fetish for idiotic aggressive loud mouths so what can be done? alas! otherwise noone in their right minds would wanna be with a dev over a jatin. and no excuses about love being blind. it is not blind. normal people fall in lust at tops with devs of the world but love is a mixture of lust and compatibility. without that noone falls in love. tv shows should really stop showing this bs. jatin is just kind of perfect. in a way that makes me wanna be single and ready to mingle. 😉

Well, Ive also had MIL problems and my hubby was an only child so u can imagine the possessiveness 😆 My saas was half Ishwari, not full scale though...cuz I wasnt Sona and refused to be a victim. 😛
But all thats long time in the past and nowadays I advise my daughter and nieces not to marry a guy with a possessive, clingy mother...best is without a mother 😆
I hope I dont turn into even 1/10th Ishwari when my son grows up

i have 3 sons and i cant even imagine being this clingy with them. i guess my role models were very different. my aai and saas are both helicopter mums about achievements but super laid back about their personal life im a bit ashamed to admit, im not as much. i sometimes fuss when they get into squabbles with other kids and stuff. but my aai and saas politely tell me to not get carried away and think my kids are the best or blameless. let them sort their own conflicts out, otherwise they wont learn. my saas is NOT my aai. but she IS my friend and a close ally. shes my family. there is a lot of love and respect there, both on a professional and personal level. and thats what you need really. we dont need to share parental relationship, i have parents. but there must be mutual respect. my saas, and my husband is an only child and a MASSIVE mama's boy, is like- i have my own life and my own problems, you married my son now you deal with him. ever since we married shes been totally hands off about him. ulta he goes running to mummy who feeds him then sternly tells him to grow up and deal with his own issues. i feel like i live in a parallel universe when i see ishwari types ppl.

Youre really lucky to have such a sensible saas
But Ive seen some Ishwaris in real life and some even worse than Ishu

I know I will be the type of saas who washes her hands off her son when he gets married.
I will be off vacationing and enjoying my life then 😆

Hats off to u jatin

One catch - he said he won't disturb Dev and Soha ...he skipped saying Sona 😆

He will call and meet Sona, of course as business partner and friend and Dev will be fuming with jealousy 😊

@TM: Nice post. Yes, so far Jatin seems to be true gentleman.
On slightly out of topic, if Vicky ask Dev to stay away from Golu for a week as he wants to spend time (which he hasn't done till date) with his son w/o his interference, will Dev simply agree?

Though they can be many logical justification for Dev to be with Golu, the baseline of Dev-Golu relation seems to be same as that shared by Jatin and Soha .
