Dev and Bijoy's scene today was awesome! If you all saw, I had a character analysis post earlier. In this, I mentioned that Bijoy was so angry because of the fact that Dev made his daughter cry. I'm not trying to say that Dev was wrong or Sonakshi was wrong. However, for Bijoy, he believes his daughter and is very upset at the fact that Dev hurt her emotions. What we are seeing now is the pent up anger at Dev from 7 years.
Dev, meanwhile, loves his daughter immensely. He can go to any extent for her, like he does for all the people he loves. He understands the fact that he hurt Sona and Bijoy, but he doesn't know how to fix it. In the scene today, he tried apologizing, but to no avail. And the thing is, he realizes the fact that he probably won't get into Bijoy's good books again.
This is like life: not all problems have solutions, and the solutions we come up with sometimes must go against our wishes for the greater good (Soha's happiness). Neither Bijoy nor Dev is wrong, but both love their daughters a lot.
