I loved today's episode for its core theme today. If you noticed it was all about dev in Bose house. It was like the plot of the show in reverse. And I loved it. This point has often come up in our discussions that dev couldn't notice what was happening wrong in his house with sona. We know there is was no physical violence, manhandling, torture etc yet it was a mental pressure for her. Solely cause of ishwaris insecurities. And he being the typical male probably who are brought up in such ways so as to not even notice that its wrong.
Now the roles have been reversed literally. Dev is in Bose house now. Just like sona was in his. Alone without his family. Bijoy is being swayed by Vicky just like ishwari was by GKB and is voicing his insecurities about breaking his house just like ishwari did to sona. He is in the exact same position facing the same cold resistance as she did in his house.
And I believe this is exactly what is needed. For men to understamd and wake up to what women go through in their house they have to be in it too. That can't even happen if both live in another house altogether. He has to live through it too. And for most shows which show the family almost worshipping the damad, I acknowledge this was a beautiful way out shown by the show. I was literally screaming in my mind this this this. Loved it.
Hopefully there will be another confrontation at end of seven days, or something from Dev when sona goes to his house and faces the same thing. Let's see what happens.

This role reversal is okay. But what is the point if dev does not realise what sonakshi had went through and what was his mistakes. Is this role reversal and torture for us to understand it ok to behave like that??
The way story going on is really upsetting. It should have been entertaining+ educating. But they are giving wrong message to audience. It is neither entertaining nor educating.

Nayi Soch!😃 Agreed. And I am also liking the core of the plot although I am not able to fathom on some of the characters.

Ishwari reacted due to insecurities + GKB's words and Bijoy is reacting because of protectiveness + Vicky's words.

People in this show should stop REACTING and live and let live!😆

what role reversal? Dev is bullying everyone in the house, threatening them, starting fights, inviting his family members, interfering in everyone's busines,, asking friends who are like family to leave... whereas Sonakshi couldn't even put a jhoola in her room!

All what you say is very good point, and I am too happy to see Karma's wheels moving, but it's all moot point if the subject does not even realize this and doesnt learn anything from it. I am sure in Ishwari Niwas Sona will again have to go through the torture this time Dev joining the gang against her since he just felt the heat of it in Bose house, instead of realizing how it must have been for her before and this time protecting her to stop this.

First time in my life I might see even Karma getting fedup of its continuous visits still bearing no fruit. Dev and Ishu have the capacity to even frustrate Karma I feel 🤣 Karma must be thinking 'What else should I do? What more should I do? In order for you to GET it !!' 😆

In Sona's case, she couldn't say a word about ishwari to anyone when she was with Dev. In Dev's case not only is he being swanky but he threatens Bijoy at his own house, with Asha's full support. Sona could not get Ishwari's brother's family not to involve in her matters but Dev asks Jatin to leave the Sona's house...For Dev to cook at Sona's house, Asha willingly collaborates with him; at Ishwari's house, Sona can't even cook something for husband which she thinks is healthy.
Role reversal with perks and double standards...

I'm ok with this role reversal of dev has some realization about sonas struggles. But from all indications I can only see the story going around in circles- you left me, my mom & family are great etc.

Dumb sona why did she sign up for this 7 day thing!

.. because CVs are not done torturing her yet 😡 all taunts, physical abuse, blame.. sab sona ke hisse 😆 because she picked up the pieces of her broken life and rose above the struggles and succeeded, she has to be called a "feminist" by MCP male lead because it is such a gaali 😉

abhi to Sona ko phir se us hell mein iaana hai.. Dev is such a sweetheart that he is just helping her become strong for Round 2 of mental & emotional torture in Dixit house 😉 Here Dev has cheerleader Asha and now Ronita.. sona has noone there!
