Is the question: Who believes Dev's words and who believes Dev's actions?

Asha saw Dev confront Mrs. Mondol, saw she will believe Dev did not steal.

Soha saw Dev stop Asha at a crucial point, so she thinks Dev did not take the jewellery but had another motive.

Bijoy saw Dev put the bag in the cupboard so he thinks Dev has taken the jewellery to cause chaos or defame the Boses.

Sona, Saurabh, Jatin and Dida heard Dev say he took it, so they think he did it.

In all cases people believe Dev's actions and words!

It will be unfair for Dev to ask for people to read his mind!

If anything, the only person who questioned his motives, after hearing his words, was Sona. She is still able to think rationally.

Everybody has their place in a family. I think if Dev wants to sacrifice thats his choice: "Karmanye vadhikaraste Ma Phaleshu Kadachana"

Asha is wrong to have left her family assume something wrong. By accepting Dev's sacrifice and misleading her family, she has displayed her lack of confidence in her family. Thats a shame but then she is only human!

Sorry jigsaw...this poll was posted before yesterday's episode was aired...So, ifs and buts were not taken into consideration...it was just a simple question.

Then regarding Asha being wrong, I would like to ask a few questions. Assume, Asha told the truth to all...What would have happened? I am not going to the complications of Bijoy getting angry and breaking the relation. Let's discuss simple things. When disclosing the truth, Asha will have to tell the reason for the theft - that Mrs. Mondal was insecured of Sona getting prime importance in Bose' house. And that Ronita would be sidelined. Hearing it, how would Saurav react? If he decides to call off the marriage, wouldn't it hurt Sona?. And she may not even forgive herself for Saunitha's breakup, as they had start loving each other and moreover this alliance they had got for Saurav after lots of difficulties. Ok, evenif Saurav doesn't call off the marriage; instead Sona decides to move out of Bose house, wouldn't it hurt Saurav?. Because, Sona being the one who had supported him in his difficult times and had helped him reach this level, wouldn't it make him guilty for sending Sona out of Bose house. Adding to all these, if everything works fine and Saunitha's marriage happens, can she assure that Bijoy will not create a hungama at the first appearance of a slight problem in Saunitha's married life. So, instead of all this, if Asha has decided to have a face to face talk with Mrs.Mondal and assure her that Ronita will not face any sort of impartial treatment in Bose house, wouldn't it be the best solution? So, I believe, Asha took a wise decision and let's wait to see how things are going to unfold in the Bose house, before jumping into the gun.

Thanks Grace. Sorry didn't realise the poll date :-)

Of course, there will be consequences for truth too. Not disagreeing at all. But it also true that absolute truth within the family builds trust. Asha might be able to resolve the problem by speaking to the Mondols are reassuring them. Does this mean this will never come out? Ofcourse in this show, lots fizzle out, but in real life, what would a person like Asha say then? Won't trusting Dev and Mondols but not her family hurt her husband?

As much as lie wouldn't guarantee a successful future for the Boses and Mondols, neither would truth. So why not the truth?

On one hand Asha brushed off Sona saying she isn't old enough to make decisions on the other hand she watched her husband accuse Dev. Is that the sort of example she wants to set for Sona?

Not going to jump the gun but like I said, its a shame she chose to hide the truth - just me, I don't mind if someone is wrongly praised but wrongly accused in front of me is a no, no - but then she is only human!
