Dev and Asha conversation

This is another scene that I loved very much..Him opening up to Asha...and for once Dev forgot he is here for Soha...for once Dev forgot he is Asha's ex son in law...he spoke to her as a son who is very angry with what his father did...and when Asha tried to justify saying Bijoy got very angry , he countered saying that anger has to be controlled ...and our emotional/impulsive Dev went on to ask a question the infamous question ...how she tolerated Bijoy ??!!

Do you think he would have talked like this to his own mom...I dont think so...

I know his question how you tolerate Baba didnt go well for many ( I am not justifying Dev ) ...but didnt Sourabh ask her some what on the same the lines...if I remember it right...he asked her ..apko inhe hi mila shadhi karne keliye ..or something on those lines ?? And all Asha said was "chup kar ".

Many a times kids ask their mom how they adjust with their dad...especially boys...or how she is not scared of him or how she can just let go his mistakes ..but mom's always take this question in a jovial manner..

Today when Dev asked this question , Asha felt bad because 1) reality check from some one who is not her family 2) She has not completely accepted Dev as her son.

And the moment her face changed he knew he had crossed the boundary that she had set for him and hence the apology from his side...but again Asha's soft conner for Dev , forgave him that very moment and invited him for Saurabh's Sangeeth..And Dev looked really apologetic ...I hope CVs show him going and talking to her abt it and clearing the air betwn them.

I want Dev and Asha's relationship to blossom into a pure mom/son relationship.
He needs a mom like Asha at this stage of his life to give him some relationship goals...and to guide him or push him towards a right direction in his personal life...

It looks like S1 is unrelated to S2

They are convincingly forgetting all the scenes...

No wonder reps have dropped...When normal audiences can't connect with story

No she didn't forget ...hence she felt bad ...and her face changed ...she just forgave him that's all...but she hasn't forgotten...Asha is a character who never forgets ...but doesn't believe in keeping hatred...because she doesn't believe in loosing her peace of mind on past issues...

She prefers learning from them...at this stage she knows if they create an issue...and kick Dev out of the house...he will get more angry and create more mess ...which will affect Soha...so the best is to act practical and matured.

And that's exactly she is been trying to do...

ashwathy, yes, this scene was good.. but what i would have liked to see is a proper logical flow leading to growth..

No one should be given a free hand to talk whatever they want to. If Dev asked a very point blank question, even Asha should have been point blank and told Dev that there is no question of "how is one living with or tolerating so and so in relationships'.. and should have told him also about how he is living with difficult people who insult others.. Vicky and GKB in particular. she could have spoken that in her own soft and firm way and i am sure that Dev would have understood better. She stayed quiet and i am not able to understand that.
