SO DISAPPOINTED WITH ASHA WHO TRIED TO RUIN BIJOYS IMAGE IN FRONT OF SONA
I WONDER WHY ASHA KEEPS DEV ON THE PEDESTAL ,, HE DOESNT DESERVE TO BE IN THAT POSITION

I understand your point of view. If bijoy was reacting like this just because of that slap i would totally agree with u about him being extreme in his behaviour. But he and his family was literally thrown out of his own house in the middle of the night by Dev's brother. For any middle class family its the worst nightmare come true. After years struggle they must stabalized themselves financially. And then when the very same person and his family begins revisting their house it is natural to be skeptical all the time.
And as for sona not deciding to live with Dev. How could she when her family was on the road without a roof on their heads because of Dev himself.
Had he accepted his mistake and corrected it by undoing the eviction mess and giving the Boses their house back, i too would have wanted sona to go back to dev.
Dev cannot tolerate anyone raising a voice or even say a word with a hint of insult to his mother but he expects sona to be understanding and supportive of dev even when her family was going through the worst time of their life because of him? That hypocrisy, isnt it?

This is what is called The Stupidity Paradox : www.india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=4824749

The authors of this book beautifully answers your question:
By ignoring the many uncertainties, contradictions and downright illogical claims that are rife (at work), people are able to ensure that things run relatively smoothly. We often value convenience over confronting the inconvenient truth.

To exist in this big bad world, we all co-conspire to be just not too clever, just not too righteous, just under the threshold. We need to have the capacity to not learn too much!

Actually I feel bad for Dev's character I have seen a character which gets so many blows to justify other characters be it Ishwari,Sona or Bijoy I must really say the show is unique 😕

Ps:Are Sona and Dev still married they don't have any relation Asha's explanation to Sona was confusing.Sourav never called Dev jiju and today out of the blue he calls him jiju was odd.

Hi folks. This is a very interesting topic and I couldn't resist posting my views as well.
What happened seven years back was both Dev and sona's mistake equally. Dev never supported or stood up for sons in front of his family but the fact is that Sona also many times did not discuss the problems that she was facing from Ishwari and the rest of the household with Dev. In fact I am sure that she never told Dev about the number of times that Vicky tried to flirt with her (even before Dev and Sona were married). How would Dev know. I always felt they married in a hurry without even analysing what went wrong with their relationship. Hence they both were wrong in their approach to their marriage - Dev became an ostrich and assumed that everything is hunky dory and Sona helped him keep up that mirage before it was too late.

I have been married for more that 10 years and I really a think that the best advice I got and we practice it seriously is we discuss all problems or issues as equals. So sometimes it's me who comes up with a solution and many times it's my husband.

Dev is not a bad person - Dev and Bijoy dislike each other not just because of the past animosity but because they see their own self in the other, Asha realises that Sona still loves Dev and that's why she is asking her indirectly to leave her past aside and give Dev another chance, I loved the way she corrected Dev twice yesterday - one stopped Dev from exercising and another when she dismissed what he said about Dev. If u hear dev's words carefully he said something like why is baba like this and then corrected it to Mr Bose. See don't we all complain about our parents sometimes! But Dev and ishwari's relationship is toxic and I think it will be Asha who will help him see the difference between his mother and how a mother should be.

Sorry this became very long. I am not a Dev fan and just put forward my view

Cheers

Very interesting topic.
I felt a little disappointed with Asha not answering back to dev because this way would never know that his words and actions hurt other people's feelings. Asha did the same thing that sona did 7 years ago by not clearly telling dev that there are other living beings in the world apart from his useless family.
I so wish sona tells dev what she told her mom about his mom and mami.

People r defending dev slapping bijoy 7 years ago, I would say then ask someone dear to slap u and see if u can forget that insult. However I do feel Bijoy is more upset about dev betraying sona and not standing by her in rough time and also kicking them out of there own house. It all added up with there struggleduring the last 7 years to reach to this level and living in there own house.

Dev's character is still the same, dumb and ignorant and worships his selfish ma.

Dev is disappointing even in today's episode. he is man-handling Sonakshi, making her do what he wants to do.. He does not care about anything but what he wants..
sad part is she doesn't even give it back to him properly.. He is like this because she let's him to be
