However, Sonakshi tried to reach out to him over and over in spite of her dad being against him. Even after break up, when Ritwik offered to step down if Dev is willing to step up, he didn't. But Sonakshi was willing to go with him if he only reached out.

I feel this is why Dev's love was always conveniently survived in private but could not stand in public. He pined for Sonakshi, he missed Sonakshi, he suffered without Sonakshi. But he didn't have courage to stand up for Sonakshi and be someone she could ever rely on.

I'm in complete agreement with each and everything you said, Tia. I wasn't suggesting that the show should go this way or advocating such an end for DevAkshi. All I was doing is give a heads up because I'm kinda sure we're all in for some major disappointments. Again. šŸ˜† Going by the episodes, this theory seems like a high possibility, sadly.

Oh but he didn't. Soha brought the form home. He didn't let Sonakshi know.

And that day when Sonakshi called Dev? She didn't promise Dev the night before that Soha will do lunch with him. She said that she will call the next day and let him know the time. Dev assumed that he is doing lunch with Soha. When Sonakshi called she gave Dev the entire schedule of Soha and asked him to meet her at 4 p.m. Dev said that he can't wait that long. Sonakshi also said what time she will have to leave for Soha's activity class. Dev despite knowing that he won't make one hour journey in 30 mins decided to try. He was impatient to meet his daughter, I get it. But his choices are not Sonakshi's fault. She called herself and informed him of the entire schedule.

If you recall that episode, never once Sonakshi blamed Dev that he didn't reach on time. Dev blamed Sonakshi for him unable to reach on time. Sonakshi asked him to meet Soha at 4 p.m. When Sonakshi called she also didn't ask where Dev was. He was at home, we know that. But in a working day, why would she assume that Dev will be at home?

I will give you an example. Sorry, I find it easier to explain with examples so please bear with me. It's like when I meet my friends for lunch on a working day, they sometimes call me and tell me where they are having lunch. Based on that information I decide if within the one hour window of my lunch break, I will be able to make it. If not, I make other plans or meet them after work. Can I blame them for calling me and informing me a lunch place too far away to meet if I decide to try to reach there anyway knowing that they also have work to get back to and limited lunch hour? No, I can't. It was my choice to try to race against time.

Imagine if Sonakshi that day, instead of calling Dev herself and let him know Soha's schedule asked her assistant to send an email to Dev? Wouldn't that be an insulting thing to do? Wouldn't we call it a sign of arrogance and contempt?

But today not informing Sonakshi isn't the only instance. When Dev broke into Soha's room and tried to sneak her out without informing Sonakshi makes me believe that he didn't think it's even necessary to inform the person who gave birth to this child and raised her. Had Soha not shown sense that day, he would have sneaked her in. This time he didn't take Soha directly from school anywhere because the contract he signed would have made him lose Soha. Otherwise, based on his prior behaviour, it's not hard to imagine that he could have done it.

My point is that just like every time Sonakshi wants to take Soha somewhere for more than one day, she should pick up the phone and call herself, the same way, everytime Dev wants to take Soha somewhere, he should pick up the phone and call himself.

@ bold. But didn't he let the Bose family know. He did not take the signed form with him nor he already submitted it in school. He also did not take her directly from school to anywhere. He sent the form with Soha to her home, where he knew she would tell Bose family about it. Also he knew he would come there to pick her up. He was neither irresponsible nor has any need to discuss anything with Sonakshi.

And if there is a need, it works both ways. Sonakshi needs to discuss too and cannot just change pllans in last minute and then blame Dev himself that you did not reach on time. She has to be honest too...😃

Awesome update! šŸ‘šŸ¼
Camp scenes will be forced and campy...is this CVs idea of romance? Taunts and jibes and eyelocks? šŸ¤”
Is Dev supposed to be the hot and tashany hero after all hes done and said to Sona and her family?

And those moms drooling again, I swear that must the school in Delhi with the tharkiest moms ever 🤢 and even the most flirtatious teachers. 😲

Ishu with her permanent harassed, frowny expressions and her halwa obsession accompanied by Ho Ho in the background makes me want to break something...preferably on her head.

Ishu only cares abt money and khoon...she was upset abt Dev losing money for Golu's sake but for Soha its fine as shes her own blood.
Serves chamcha mamaji right...all his kachori buttering still wont make Ishu feel anything much for Golu...not that Soha herself is precious for Ishu, she only wants to use Soha to get back Dev to original pujari post.

🤣 Aise hi bol diya, and honestly his dialogs are disoriented which makes me wonder if he intakes alcohol throughout the day from that hip flask or not šŸ˜†

But dare you ask him the logic/reason behind it . His sentences are full of gibberish with no head or tail or CONTEXT or link.

I guess my biggest problem with this scene was, which school allows another person, not mentioned part of the family to sign such an form for any kid, ridiculous. even If the kid insists of knowing the person, the school never ever allows for such a blunder to happen.
BTW, I too would say Dev should have had informed Sonakshi instead of directly signing the consent form of Soha. A kid may ask/agree for anything, its the duty of adults to behave in a matured way and take the right decision. But I guess it is too much to expect such a thing from someone like Dev who is still making Zid, whiny all times and fighting like a kid with Sonakshi like an 8 yr old baccha.

I have a suggestion to the CVs. Why don't they show one of the ladies(who were drooling over Dev) marry Dev? This will solve many problems. Atleast one of those women will be happy to get such a handsome husband, Dev will be happy to get more Sohas and Golus(bcoz apparently no one talks after marriagešŸ˜‰). Boses and us will be spared of this torture. Nobody will be interested in Dev's love story with anyone else.
But wait a minute. Do those drooling women know that Dev is available on an exclusive offer. And this is a lifetime offer. Psycho husband liya to super psycho mother in law "muft muft muft". Aisi MIL aayi to yeh ladies ke sapne toot jayenge. Sona atleast used to get to talk to her husband (if not anything else) inhe baatein bhi naseeb nahin hongi. Unless of course they do something by tricking MIL and get pregnant. Then they ll be cared utmost.

Seriously this Devakshi romance looks so forced. Don't know where to bang my head.
