Why is the execution so poor

I feel the story line has gone for a toss after the first week of the leap, but now the execution of the current story also seems to be quite shoddy...
The last few episodes just seem like a hodge podge of scenes they don't seem to flow at all

That's because some incidents happen within a day (shown for a week in TV) and in some, many days incidents are shown in a single day(in the TV world). Editing and pace is that way!
