Why does Sonakshi think she is always right?

Today in the contract she made Dev accept that he is responsible for not knowing the existence of his child. How is that even fair?

Even if we assume for a moment that Dev did indeed refuse to meet Sonakshi, I do not think he should be held responsible. It is totally up to him he wanted to meet his estranged Wife or not.

And assuming that Sonakshi told the security guard about their child and Dev decided to meet them, he would be labelled as male chauvinist who treated Sonakshi as baby making machine.

But the fact is Sonakshi also went to meet Dev only because of their child. We do not know and cannot prove if Sonakshi would have made an effort to meet Dev if not for Soha.

Why is it that the onus lies with Dev? He should have called Sonakshi, etc etc

In fact in all this, I think Sonakshi is to be blamed the most. She did not try hard enough for both Dev and Soha to meet. She could have called Dev, send him pictures, or just tell the security guard she came with their child... but she did none of these.

And I don't think it is fair for Soha to tell Dev that he has to prove himself for her to call him papa/ or for Sonakshi to tell Dev to prove himself as a good Father.

Did soha review Sonakshi's role as a Mother and then called her Mama? Also parenting is learnt with time no ones becomes a good parent instantly.

I honestly pity Dev the most.

He did so much for his Mother but his Mother did not trust that he will always be there for her and her daughters.

He loved and supported Sonakshi but she did not trust that he would never hurt her or her family.

And now he has to worked so hard to attain the love of his Daughter that was in fact snatched away of him.

Oh yes. Means the onus should always lie in a woman to mend the relationships. That's true that person becomes a good parent with time. Dev also had no right to tell Sons pre leap that she cannot be a good mother. He had no right to force Sons to go for infertility treatment but just because his mother wants it, he forced her. But then also it is Sona's fault that she didn't tried hard enough

I don't think I implied that Sonakshi should mend the relationship. Both Sona and Dev had the right to choose if they wanted to meet each other or not to reconcile their differences. But in this case it is different as Sona had their child which rightfully belongs to both of them. She should have tried her best for both Soha and Dev to meet. I would have said the same thing for Dev if he were in Sona's position. It has nothing to do with gender but more of what is the right thing to do.

I do not think Dev forced Sonakshi for the fertility treatment. It's not like
Sona refused and they were like you have to do. Unfortunately we were not shown clearly Sona's pov regarding the treatment so let's not put such a huge allegation on Dev that he forced her.

Yess that's my point.

I always have a problem with Bijoy and Sonakshi. They speak volumes on ethics,truth and morals but place themselves above all these.No rule applies to them. But they are ever ready to dissect and judge Dev. For instance Sonakshi who never did any household work orders Dev to iron his clothes or arrange his closet. Bijoy Bose who proudly stated that Sonakshi need not learn anything expects Dev to change himself.

Likewise Sonakshi did not hesitate to trap Dev by making him responsible to hide Soha's truth. That is not wrong but Dev is fatally wrong when he went to meet his daughter through the window.Dr Bose predicts he will never be a good father to Soha.

Sonakshi should realise if she with her ego and attitude can get the love of Soha as her mother,Dev also has the right to be called Papa by Soha.

Dev need not prove himself . He is a father and that is the ultimate truth.

I think Sona was right to make Dev sign the contract. He jumped into the window and tried to take his daughter, any mom would freak out when her ex tries to do that. She was only being protective. She did let Dev take Suha and spend time not restricting that but slowly and not to disrupt Suha.

Regarding the clause about not knowing his daughter and Dev responsible for it, I think she put it there so that tomorrow if there is a custody battle there are no allegations that Sona hid the Child. Yes Sona could have tried more.. but even she has her self respect.

After Suha is grown up of course she if afraid what nonsense Iswari will do , especially after she gave those statements last time like I will do anything for my granddaughter. Ishwari is manipulative and Dev falls for that...As a mother I think what Sona did was right.
