I haven't watched yesterday's episode but the 21st Feb episode was really powerful.
Look at the scenario, don't go into the blame game but just the point of view of a child. Soha has had a balanced 6 years of existence; she is extremely mature for a 6 years old; her family adores her and in her own words she is the most important person in the family. Even Jatin, makes sure Soha's feelings are prioritized.
When Dev asked her about her father, Soha's response was really truly balanced. 'If my dad can't take care of my mother, how will he take care of me'. Why shouldn't she feel that? Her life with her mom has been bed of roses, which child wants to let go of that comfort zone.
Now, Dev has every right on Soha. He feels left out, cheated. I agree (to a certain point, I don't want to analyse his dealing with Sona) but what's the point of his behaving in such a manner (the promo) when he meets Sona?
Making Sona angry, misbehaving with her, will not solve the problem. If Soha sees him being such a way with her mother, whom she adores, Dev is going to alienate Soha. No child, even if she yearns for her dad, will agree to the mother being mistreated.
The point is, if a child is safe and happy with one parent, when the other parent wants to be part of the child's life, the other parent needs to think of the child's need. The parent's ego, emotions should be secondary. Put the child's need first.
I'm totally worried about Soha being with Ishwary. As a grandmother, she has every right but she is going to spew her venom about Sona to Soha. Soha is intelligent, maybe Soha would be the one to bring clarity into Sona and Dev's behaviour.
For me, the jury is still out on whether Sona and Dev should patch back. At present, based on what I'm seeing, the relationship is full of toxicity.
