I don't think its entirely fair to expect Dev to be overly concerned with the question of how he can keep Soha happy if he couldn't keep Sonakshi happy. Frankly the same can be said about Sonakshi. If she couldn't keep her in-laws happy why should anyone expect that she could keep her child happy? But Sona absolutely deserved a right to parent her child. Just like that Dev also deserves a right to try.
Just because a marriage breaks down doesn't mean you don't have the right to attempt a relationship with your children. Keeping your spouse happy is different from keeping your children happy. One of Sonakshi's biggest issues with Dev was that he infantilized her by not always giving her equal authority in big decisions. That's a trait that would be frustrating for a partner but its not necessarily bad in a parent.

He despises me more with each passing day. Today he hurt a child. Still unable to digest this fact.

A prenup is not legally enforceable in India. As per the Indian Contract Act, any agreement entered into in respect of a marriage is null and void. I dont know why Indian TV gets a high out of butchering every law and profession. Doctors con the patient and they give a damn about doctor-patient confidentiality, schools just let random strangers walk in and they dont even care about the safety of the kids and now we have a lawyer who takes great efforts in drafting an agreement which is essentially not enforceable in the Court. But wait. Why am I looking for logic 😆

I'm not saying Dev would be a bad parent. I'm talking about introspection. When Soha said those words, I wanted him to think where he went wrong. I want him to realise that he has made some grave mistakes in the past, I want him to realise that he was unable to be a part of his daughter's life because of his misdeeds. That's where Sonakshi beats him, she accepted that she too made mistakes and was somewhere responsible for the separation but Dev conveniently puts the blame on Sonakshi. He didn't even think about the fact that Sona has said such good things about him to Soha, isn't that something to be thankful for?

So true 😆
I skipped the infertility track because it killed me to see such blatant butchering of my profession.
