very nice post...yes i believe it will be soha who can mend the impaired dev...
ishwari is one self-obsessed lady...soha looks like dev this is not wat she is happy about but soha looks like dev and dev looks like her so ultimately soha looks like her is wat makes her happy...and then dev says the dreadful thing that soha is mini sona...i almost was expecting ishwari to fake another heart attack and dev will run to soha and tell her forget everything i told u i am not ur father...

Oh that one. Okay, thanks Shailu.

Amulya, I said that line because considering Ishwari believes everyone who is not born in Dixit family, even if they get married into her family is an outsider and the only thing she wants to see in her grandchildren that they don't resemble the outsiders at all, the only way to ensure that is if she makes her daughters carry her son's children. Because in every other sense, a child needs two people and they can't be from the same family. So how will you custom make a child with only your family features? She didn't even meet Soha and she is already disappointed that she is Mini Sonakshi. Kids are smart. Dev might ignore her looks, but don't think Soha won't catch up on it.

I was very upset to see that the Dixits were so ecstatic with Soha, but not once it crossed their mind to approach the mother who raised the child.

Misunderstood I feel the member took something else .
I didn't feel it

If she could, she would make her own daughter carry her son's baby so that she can ensure an identical Ishwar

Also when Dev was telling Soha that aap toh bohot Gussa karti hogi ki sabke Papa hai aur aapke nahin,I felt that he was trying to convince himself that Soha was extremely unhappy and deprived without his presence in her life.
On the other hand,Soha was always a happy child and she was content with her life.Yes there was the natural curiosity to know her father but apart from that she has never moaned or complained about his absence.

Dev and Ishu are so happy to know about Soha, not thinking even once about the pregnancy period of Sona when Dev was spending time with Shrutis in hotel rooms 🤢 Mai hoto toh sharam se doob marti ..

There was a family tour last week back in my home country (family from paternal side, we are close cuz we were joint family once)... my bhabhi from my first cousin is pregnant and she could not have joined the trip, and some of the elders were suggesting at least bhaiya to join since there would be no fun without them... But I almost forcibly made my brother to stay with bhabhi... thinking to enjoy life with friends and family when bhabhi is stuck with medical restrictions due to pregnancy is SO NOT done.. baby is a joint product and both need to share every emotion together - be it happiness or sufferings 😆 Call me sadistic but I think this is the fair game 😕 ... just the thought of Dev not having any second thought on his aiyaashi days when Sona might have been struggling with morning sickness, body changes and so many doc visits - makes me sick 😡 I could not have despised Dev more.. I really thought Dev would spare some thoughts on Sona's struggle post the revelation 😕 My bad.. 🥱

I do know what you meant but I just din't like the usage of such a line, I personally prefer to avoid the gutter even when its all around and so I wish I could unread such a line. Hope you understand.

That was his EXPECTATION ! He probably knew that was not true, hence wanted to CONVINCE her .. He wanted her to think from that POV.. It is called Manipulation !

Just watched the episode... Like somebody said in the previous page, DIXITS are, hands down, the most selfish family of Indian Television... There will always be at least one person to balance it out, but here the count is 0. Mamaji used to get my brownie points initially, not any more !

@ Andro - Did he ask that to Soha ? Not surprised. Hearing that Soha suffered due to his absence would have made him feel happy, just like he said seeing Sonakshi so sorted and happy bothers him because he expected and wanted Sona to remain as miserable as he is and that would make him happy.

The most selfish man I have ever seen in Telly, who wants his daughter sad and angry to fulfill his ego..

i think the highlight of the epi was soha's words that she threw at dev...like y did he come to her house WITHOUT permission...gud...dev thinks that his stalker habit will be welcomed by his daughter...at one time sona used to feel irritated but dev did not care and now dev will know that being dev dixit does not gv him the right to go anywhere anytime...
but the masterblaster was wen dev asked whether she wants to meet her dad and she said if he cannot keep her mom happy then how can he keep her happy...now dev will know that claiming to love his wife is not the end all...it is how one fulfills his responsibilities and acts as protector of his wife is wat matters...

and wat did dev mean by saying (the scene with ishwari before he went to school) that in the last 7 years all the pain that he felt and all that he missed in his life is gone away with soha...once he gets soha he will settle down...so it was a child that he was missing in his life and not sona...so now after he gets soha he will not bother about sona...

that means if there was no divorce and no child then dev wud hv led a compromised life with sona...

i really dont understand wat the CVs want to make out of dev...

however all said and done i must not forget to mention that as usual shaheer nailed the scene with soha...the way he was consoling in his between that she shud not get scared...the way he almost was preparing to get up from there since she was not reacting...brilliant

Exactly. He expected Soha to think like himself. He wanted her to think that she was missing out a lot in life because he wasn't there for her.
It was partly an attempt to manipulate Suhana and partly to make himself feel better and massage his ego.
