If you don't know where you are going, any road will get you there. Lewis Carroll

This is true in real life too.

P.S I dont know where this show is going but here are my thoughts

Dev and Sona need to know where they are going and what their final destination is

Dev after 7 years still angry that Sona is moving on. Easwri still delusional , mamaji still an instigator.

Bijoy still not understanding where his daughters happiness may lie, Asha still trying to be reasonable and Sona not knowing what she wants

If this continues Dev will in his mad rage marry a woman of his mothers choice spoiling that girls life and Sona will marry Jatin.

In all this not knowing where they are going the casualty will be Soha who did not ask to be at this place because both her parents did not know the right path to take and aimlessly wandered wherever people took them

Both Dev and Sona need to take a good hard look at where they really want to go before they can get there

Dev and Sona are different people now ..but have the same simmering anger and feelings so there is no use going back to yesterday

Closing with this quote

"It's no use going back to yesterday, because I was a different person then."
Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland

Very well said...
The unfortunate part is the makers think, or want us to think, that nowhere means somewhere!

Maybe they are right because while they take this route to nowhere, most of us are on the same bus to nowhere.. 😊

Job done, isn't it!!!

Lovely and meaningful quotations both...The leads don't know where they are going..and they are just the same after seven years...

Whoever said "waqt ne kiya haseen sitam"..not much sign of any sitam here...in fact no sign of any learning..

Beautifuly written👏👏 And so very true...The fundamental characteristics of most of the main leads have not changed.

Bijoy,Ishwari,Mamaji or Mamiji not changing is not surprising. Most of them were around 50 in the pre leap part. After this age, very few people change..And even if they do,their basic nature and characteristics which define them remain the same. Ishwari will almost always be possessive, selfish and manipulative. She can hide these traits temporaily, but can never get rid of them completely. Bijoy will always be over concerned and over enthusiastic to the point of being interfering. He will continue losing his temper at the drop of a hat. Mamiji will continue instigating, her greed will multiply and so will her selfishness. Mamaji will continue with his(in)sincere sympathies and meaningless advice while continuing to be a sounding board to his "Kachori".

The irony is that Dev and Sonakshi have not learnt the first thing about people after going through such a painful separation.

Dev's judgement of people continues to be downright awful. His maturity and understanding levels have plunged to new lows and anger and stupidity levels have touched new highs post separaton. He has developed a general bitterness towards life, and distrusts his mom.His "love only" relationship with Sona has been replaced by Love hate.Very minimal changes in fundamental nature considering that the separation almost broke him. What has he learnt??..Almost nothing...The guy still doesn't have the first clue about his emotions and feelings for people and has no idea what he wants from life

Ok So Dev was this immature idiot to start with...I don't expect him to get a halo overnight..But Sona was the intelligent one..or so i thought..But no...Sona continues to be stubborn (bordering on headstrong at times),continues trying to please people in her life and still has no clue about her inner feelings or emotions .To top it all she has developed some minus points...She has to retort to every stupid comment that Dev makes and has to take offence at the most inane things he says...(Girl,u claim to have moved on)..

Fundamentally we have gone round and round the mulberry bush and voila...we are back where we started...They are back to playing Tom and Jerry with each other..(remember that is how their love started😕)..Unfortunately, the makers seems to have forgotten that there is a little girl in the midst of all this

Hope good sense prevails and the makers show Sona telling Dev about his daughter. And hope Dev the terrible reacts nicely and sanely...I do not want a custody battle..I will seriously stop watching the show if they show such crap...I also want Ishu mata to go trekking to the Himalayas for sometime(wishful thinking..sigh)
