What I feel is Dev As a child never got a opputunity to enjoy his childhood he was too matured for his age... He was the pillar for ishwari at her sadness..
Soha is even too matured for her age .. her childhood is even not perfect. She is even the pillar for her mother at her sadness..She is the reason for her happiness..
Dev lied to his mother to make her happy n never slept without talking to is mother..
Similarly even Soha never sleeps without seeing her mother n even she at times lies to her mother so that not to make her worry ...
Might be Soha was brought up Sona but she inherited all the qualities of Dev ...
I find Dev as a child he was unjustified as he lost his childhood in helping his mom , he lost his teenage in making business successful without anyone's help he was a saviour of everyone..At his marriage age he as a lover succeeeded till the time his love life was in front of family.. but his wrong time or unfortunate time started from the time his love life was open.. he was made to deal hole Dixit house , Bose house n sonakshi all at once.. he was success full in making them happy when comes to the matter of individual but not as a group.. he lied to keep them happy but none thought that how sad he would be...
I m not justifying Dev but I m thinking about the man at his position because it's difficult for a person to deal with all kind of personalities at once and all the above to a person like Dev...
When he tried to keep sona happy ishwari was sad when he made ishwari happy Sona was sad.. when he tries to keep both of them happy Bose family were sad.. but all the time he was sad..
His only decision to marry Sona wasn't accepted by anyone expect they both...
I still remember the dialogue that Sona told to Dev on his bday that when their plan was flop she said she shouldn't be angry with him as his plan was even flop... So how come when her martial life is at loss it's only his fault ???
She believed him all the time when he was at fault she believed him all the times when he lied but she dint believe him when he said the truth regarding prenuptial n house vacate incidents..
He promised her to be with her all the time he promised for a life long saath dena wachan but failed miserably to fulfill it..
All the more because of the separation Sona got her loving family Soha business reputation and a long last suddenly emerged friend.
Dev after separation got a life line golu ... Troubling Vicky n gkb , paagal ishwari , and maamaji...
I feel in every stage of Devs life he was unjustified. At early stage might be because family but after marriage his own actions and at times Sona herself n interferences of outsiders in there married life.
Similarly Sona was unjustified at her breakup time , after marriage...
But she has a reason to live upon miss suhana Bose.
The first person to talk about their child was Dev himself that he wanted a little cute khargosh...
Yet he just dismissed that one want to keep sona happy.. he burried that thought by keeping in mind her health condition.. all blamed him for keeping it secret but none thought how he faced all the misery for himself..
I just feel bad for dev more than Sona ... (More than Sona is just because Sona has got a lovely family to share her pain and a beautiful n understandinh daughter) .. . Rest both have had a dark life..
P.s. I know many may not agree thais because Dev is mama's boy or spineless... But do remember boys even have heart and they too feel the pain...
