This is an off topic friends...
I don't make serious posts more often like Tia Di whom I look up to for her vast knowledge she spreads or anyone else as likely very rare case I did make one, but today I wanted to just share a opinion or my perspective on Ishwari & Sonakshi & Dev past relationships...
I'll start with a story of a novel I had read...
Telling you guys, I am a big fan of Sudha Murthy Writings & I love her the way she depicts the inner turmoil & tolerance of women & the power they posses... So the below is one of her stories that I personally love, there is one more before this story of hers that is 'Mahashweta' that I love more but according to this situation this is very much apt...
I hope you will enjoy this story, its really heart warming & touching & I did say to U also to read it once...
Para's in nos. are to be told further in My POV...
Red color denotes story & Blue color denotes my pov/differentiation...

Gently Falls The Bakula...
Story is all about a girl named Shrimati & a boy named Shrikant. Both were toppers in college but only difference was Shrimati was first & Shrikant came second which always had a competitiveness for Shrikant thinking he have to come first. Shrimati wanted History even though she was topper in all subs, & Shrikant in Science, when asked to Shrimati then her answer was that she is interested in History rather than science...
1).One thing I forgot to tell there houses were opposite & had clashes & immense hatred because some ancestral issues of being from different caste or actually there ancesters... So there was always a clash between them.
MY POV : Castes of being Brahmin & Bengali had a major role of seeing ones rituals down in shame like during DevAkshi's shaadi, marriage will be Bengali or Brahmin had a fight between both families which caused unpleasant things being carried out...
And then in Navratri also same thing happened with specially Sonakshi. That is the idea of broad minded was not shown, specially by Dixits family in specific Mami, Ishwari & Bua.
And one thing which blossomed were the flowers of Bakula which were of brown colours & not like roses but simple & beautiful they were... Which later became the reason for the love blossoming between Shrimati & Shrikant during higher secondary, as Shrikant goes for engineering in Mumbai, they start communicating in letters which does not diminish there love... During this, Shrimati being a keen student in History goes becoming an obvious choice for tourist guide...
2). Here Shrimati turns down an offer of research scholarship foreign visiting professor, Mike Collins, just to get married to Shrikant. This is the first of the umpteen sacrifices she makes for her beloved.
MY POV : One thing was this same quality of Sonakshi possessing from Shrimati character, the thing of letting go or going through all pains in here or even holding her career onto sometime to just concentrate on the 24*7 stupid family matters & dramas had shown she could go to any extent of sacrifice even going through fertility treatments would have caused her immense pain but she was ready... here I did say she didn't really sacrifice anything but to say in that house she sacrificing her self respect actually only for the never loving & only hating her for nothing, In laws...
Shrimati's mother warns her that she'll never be loved by Shrikant's mother & sister & that every DIL's desire to be appreciated by her MIL will not be fulfilled in this case. Shrikant holds ground against mother who wants him to marry another girl & Shrimati makes clear that she wants only love, affection & companionship...
3).Shrimati has to put up with all taunts & harsh sings of MIL & SIL but soon she shifts Mumbai with Shrikant & as per his wish couriered some money to MIL's house.
Shrimati then wants to continue her studies further but the scheming mother-in-law pulls one fast on her- she bluffs that she had borrowed a huge sum of money from an uncle (who had lent it in the hope of making Shrikant his son-in-law) and so she wants her son to repay the loan. His sister is the originator of this bluff, basically intended to put Shrimati in trouble. Shrimati gives up her idea of higher studies only to work (and also not in the History department) and help repay the loan. In return, she does not get even an iota of appreciation.
MY POV : The same condition of Shrimati was with Sonakshi in every case, albeit different. Specially the epic Dev slapping Bijoy scene, there had been innumerous taunts of borrowing money from Dev & too many accusations even though Sona wasn't on fault still, they are from boy's side, right, so respect them & go through anything even a slap or kick, as their daughter had to go through every taunt & harsh things said & done by Mami, Neha & Ishwari...
Here somewhere even though Sonakshi tried settling issues of Riya-Ayan, Neha-Ranveeer & etc. She succeeded in many but didn't get an inch of appreciation. Why? Because she belonged to different caste, & not mother's choice...But actually because of Ishwari's insecurity & Mami-Neha's scheming plans. Same like Shrimati who didn't got he deserved respect in her in laws house...
4).Shrikant climbs the corporate ladder in double-quick time, and Shrimati is the silent assistant at home, more like a secretary at home. She once again puts her academic aspirations on hold to enable him to carry out his transfer; her motherly instinct is not satisfied either, because her husband wants to climb higher; she now has to put up with a new kind of taunt from her mother-in-law- 'being barren'.
MY POV : Now here this wasn't like actual case of Dev-Sona like Shrikant-Shrimati. As in here both couples (Bakula couple & serial couple) had different wishes & povs on having babies or not... But the situation at In Laws house was same...Shrimati & Sonakshi both being taunted by their MIL's of 'being barren' & not having or being capable of giving babies...Being accused that she married their son for money & all, & that she did have known this before of not being able to become mother & all this was intentionally done by Sona/Shrimati was the situation being all same...
Or else DevAkshi wanted a baby whereas Shrimati wanted but Shrikant didn't as to why? Because Shrikant wanted to focus on his career rather than family making & all & wanted to be financially stable whereas Dev already was. Or I even think If Dev was in place of Shrikant he would have done the same, I just think maybe due to Ishwari's pressure...
Meanwhile, Shrikant reaches the top management & was having all luxury slowly slowly Shrimati's loneliness accentuates but Shrikant is adamant about not having children. She suggests adoption, which is also promptly turned down. Now, Shrimati gets lesser time with her husband, but has to play hostess to his official and personal friends, which she isn't comfortable with, but does it to perfection.
When Shrimati falls ill, she doesn't inform him so that he concentrated on performance which is goodness on her part not being acknowledged...
Proffesor Collins visit her & she guides him the north side historic places & prof. notices her sadness & tells her to go ahead with Ph.D. in history to rekindle her happiness. The pretence of official relationships which are made on the basis of profit and loss hits her hard. She does not enjoy elite' company, which always harps on materialistic things...
She revisits their love letters; that affection requires only mutual love and intense faith, and not beauty or intelligence, is reinforced. And that is lacking in her life right now.
The reader is told through an office colleague that men work for money and then for power, which will require hard work and unconditional support from the family. Shrikant was lucky to have found an intelligent yet unambitious wife, and thereby became phenomenally successful.
Shrimati, in desperation, tries to get Shrikant to give her some time, but gets chided by him. She sobs, and remembers that a house is a structure and home is a place of feelings and relationship. This residence had no room for relationship! So, since she cannot return to Hubli, she decides to do her Ph.D. with Prof. Collins.
The parting conversation between Shrikant and Shrimati is extremely touching; I was overwhelmed. Shrimati tells him that she cannot put up with loneliness any longer; nor can she live with artificial values which eulogise materialistic success. She tells him that she had loved him and History and him more than her studies. When he lost finer sentiments, she lost him and was left only with history. She makes it clear that she's not enchanted by the comforts he'd created and that she's leaving him to find fulfilment. He had treated her as an ornament' in the social circuit and she cannot be content being just that. She opines that divorce is an instrument of remarriage and hence is not interested in it.
The novel ends with Shrikant looking back at his domineering self, and how cruel he was to his wife by not giving her due. He realises that he was the cause for her departure, but his professional nature gets the better of him, at the cost of his personal life.
MY POV : I don't know but Dev didn't even acknowledged of being wrong himself also or bashed Ishwari after knowing her deeds & instead blaming on Sona of having leave him & go away! And that comment of Pata nahi kya kya karke badi ho gayi? Even though he said in provoking manner but how could he said like this whatsoever...Like even...Once Dev loved this same girl & wanted to have her by his side every second & today thinking of his own love with another...God I cant even think of it!
The bakula tree, whose flowers symbolised the love between them, had fallen, sadly.
Really the interference of outsiders had made their marriage & love fall, this time to hate each other in only words i.e. Abhodro & fights to die.

One thing about this story was the mirror of reality & truth...
Both story had its own way of representation but situations were being same even though the thoughts weren't but the narrow minded thinking of In Laws same...
The thing that Shrimati & Sonakshi despite their innocence & good nature tried to win hearts of In Laws, them - the In Laws tried to be the evil at its best & not only taunting them but if their would have been a chance to beat their bahu then they would have readily taken in the reins & beat them...
No Offence to any family or any one here in but just these were the simalirities of the book & show couple...
And this is plight of most women in rurals & backward caste or actually many a times with houses having Ishwari type person too maybe...
Being a teenager These are my thoughts, so pardon me If I hurt anyone's feelings from my words...All I wanted was to share this book's thoughts with you & how it perfectly fits with Sonakshi...
Thanks for being a patient reader...
