Sonakshi was always a strong girl and her love for Dev was immense and unconditional... He was everything to her, her prince charming. She was the only one to understand him... Remember when she arranged for their lovely date in the resort she said "Main Aapko Samajhna Chahti Hun, Jaise Kisine Aapko Samjha Nahi Hoga"... And she followed what she said... She was the only one in that mad house who used to understand Dev and in all the madness happening over there 24*7, she was the one who used to bring a smile on his face.

She knew what makes him happy and his happiness was her happiness too. There were many discussions on why Sona was trying to change herself... But how I look into it is... She knew, Dev always wanted his family to love and respect Sona the way they love him... And Sona was trying to do that only, with her goodness. And there was nothing wrong in it. The Dixits never tried to reciprocate her love. Specially Neha and Ishwari.

She was always ready to face any situation for their love... I remember the rain sequence where she said "MAIN TAYYAR HUN DEV.

Aapke liye.

Aapse judi har baat ke liye.

Problems hongi... complications hongi... Par agar hum saath honge to sabko hara denge.

Main bas aapke saath rehna chahti hun.

I JUST WANT TO BE WITH YOU."

And she faced a lot of problems, but was still firm for him... And was still only looking at the brighter side... She only wanted him to be with her.

She loved him the way he loved her... I remember during her engagement with Ritwick, she left everything, the moment she saw Dev fainting... She couldn't think of anything but Dev at that point of time... And when she saw Dev's breakdown she uttered "Tum Jaante Ho Na, Main Aapko Aise Nahi Dekh Sakti, Main Duniya Ke Saamne To Bahot Strong Banti Hun... Par Aapko Aise Nahi Dekh Sakti".

She was not wrong in expecting him to stand by her, but as I said earlier the time was wrong and everything else went haywire. Though Dev wanted them to be back together, she had gone through a lot since past few days... The fake pregnancy fiasco, Ishwari's over interference in their lives, which was always there but reached a new level since few days... Her family's insult in that house... She knew it was not Dev's fault but what all happened after that made things worse for the couple.

Sona once said "Dev, Aap Mere Liye Itne Important Hochuke Hai Ke Aapke Alawa Mujhe Koi Aur Hurt Hi Nahi Kar Sakta"... And she was hurt because of him at the end... Nobody else can hurt her now as she has not given the right to anybody else to do that, it was only Dev for her.

Now coming to this new Sona post leap, She's much stronger than the old Sona and is very good at hiding her real feelings infront of the world and Dev too. She was anyways stronger than Dev... But this time she has hidden even a little bit of her weakness behind her rudeness. She has taken care of her family... Their (Dev-Sona's) daughter for all these 7 years and have achieved a position for herself in the business field. She's the independent Sona, Dev always loved.

Now there are many discussions on where Dev is going overboard or is it Sona doing too much in anger... Who's more on the wrong side and who's right... I actually don't want to get into it... Because I have a different POV altogether.

The most beautiful and so in love couple, who have passed all the hurdles to finally get married and wanted a beautiful peaceful married life... But that did not happen due to their families... More because of the Dixits and Bijoy from the Bose family precisely... They still used to try and find some cute little moments for themselves. Tried to be happy in small things... They always thought someday everything will get fine and their families will come on good terms, which actually happened once, but it was short lived. The families should have understood their love for eachother, but I guess both Bijoy and Ishwari were more about themselves than their children.

The day they separated, Sona didn't immediate trusted Vicky's words. She said "Dev aisa nahi kar sakte" and wanted to talk to him... When she was about to meet Dev, Vicky gave her the Prenup agreement and she lost her senses... The time she entered, the first word Dev uttered was sorry... He said he don't know how he did this, but it was a mistake and he'll rectify it... That was it... Dev didn't do anything, but he accepted the fault as his own mother thought Dev was the one to throw Boses out of that house. It made him believe he actually did that... And once Dev accepted, how can Sona refuse to believe it.

And next when he said he just wanted to be with her, she was not ready... After all the drama, the loan fiasco and the prenup, she was all broken... And once she decided to part ways, Dev lost everything... His love, his life, his happiness... Both of them were shattered...!!

Dev who couldn't even think of living a moment without Sonakshi has spent 7 long years without her... The same Dev who once said "Main tumse door nahi jana chahta... Aur tumhe mujhe door jaane nahi dunga. Bahot saal tumse door raha hun. Ab main... Chaubiso ghante, Saato din (24*7) tumhare sath rehna chahte hun. Kya aisa nahi ho sakta?"

"Jab tum ghar se chali gayi bina bataye toh... toh aisa laga jaise andar kuch toot gaya. Saans nahi li jarahi thi. Main usi waqt yahan aagaya tumhare paas."

How difficult it would have been for the man, who never thought of spending a single day without his wife. He's hurt that she didn't trust him. He's hurt that she was not with him all these 7 years... There's pain, hurt and anger of her not being with him for 7 long years.

Sonakshi who always wanted to be called Mrs. Dixit... She always wanted her name to be associated with him, has also spent these 7 years without him... She was the one who used to say "It's Mrs. Dixit for You" "Enough... Mujhe yeh game nahi khelna... Main hamesha Mrs. Dixit banke rehna chahti hun, Always" "Mr. & Mrs. Dixit... Sunne me kitna achcha lagta hai na".

The same girl spent 7 long years without him... She was hurt that he didn't stand by her, didn't try to save their marriage... She has gone through the same pain, hurt and has the same amount of anger towards him.

But the love is still there and is still the same... No matter for how many times they try to deny it. Soha reminds Sona of Dev and we have seen the glimpse of it in the initial post leap episodes itself and Sona do get affected remembering him... Dev on the other hand is trying to show the world Sona's presence doesn't matter to him, but it does... The whole award ceremony was the proof of them getting affected by each other's presence and they don't leave a chance to show the anger through the taunts they project on each other...!!

Though Dev took away the trophy, the pride was clearly visible on his face, in his eyes and ofcourse his words "Ye Award Mere Liye Bahot Special Hai" with those sparkling eyes.

On the other hand Sona is trying more than Dev to hide it... Once she saw him with a girl in that Hotel, she was standing out in disbelief for quite some time and she says, she's not getting affected. There was some sort of happiness on her face when she came to know the girl is not with Dev in that room.

Now they have started sharing the same office... Now here there's a contrast in their personalities... Dev want to throw her out of the office to show everybody that she doesn't affect him anymore. On the other hand Sona wants to stay in the same office as she want to show that even if he's infront of her eyes, it's not gonna affect her.

Dev is trying every possible thing to get a reaction from her and show her that he still affects her... On the other hand Sona is sure, her presence is affecting Dev and it was clear when yesterday she said "Bahot takleef horahi hai na ke ispe Sonakshi Dev Dixit nahi Sonakshi Bijoy Bose Likha hai" and Dev's eyes are still a mirror to his feelings, it immediately reflects his inner turmoil, but Sona has already learnt to hide it.

They are showing their anger, the frustration, the pain through their actions and words... They're gonna hurt each other through the actions and words... Dev more through his actions and Sona through her words... But it'll have to end someday. They'll have to get over this anger... And it'll only happen once they'll vent it all out on each other. I'll curiously wait for the day to come.

There's a desperate attempt from both of them to show they have moved on... An attempt to show, they are unaffected... And in this process they are trying to hurt each other with their words and actions.

They are also projecting their anger through words to let the other person know, it was you who was at fault... Like the way Sona uses "Mumma's Boy" and all kind of words to make it clear, if it would have been you standing up for me we would have been together today.

In Dev's case the way he said "You need to maintain relations, but ofcourse how would you know about it" to let her know, if she would have trusted him at the end of it. If they would have hold on to each other, they would have been together.

Both are getting affected by eachother's presence a lot... Even a small word reminds Sona of their good old moments and same is with Dev.. But Sona is good at instantly putting on the mask and making Dev believe, she's unaffected. Whereas Dev cannot do that, it takes him time put up that mask on and in order to show off he purposely starts flirting infront of Sona or do the things he has been doing these days.

DevAkshi still remember the last bitter conversation they had that lead to their separation and once they are face to face, it reminds them of it... That bitterness and hurt is then reflected in their actions and words...!!!

Coming to the New BGM, it perfectly suits the post leap scenario and as much I miss the beautiful original tracks of the show, I am in love with this new track too:
