Hello!
Missed being a part of the forum discussions last week..
Thanks a lot for your wishes, my exams are going well, I couldn't resist the itch to post here this week after the fabulous episodes Thursday and Friday.
A lot of progress there, regarding Dev's facade falling off!
Lets recall some eventful things . ..
- Sonakshi sharing office space with Dev
The truth which they have been avoiding for the past seven years will be right infront of their eyes every day.
You must be thinking it could have been avoided..?
Sonakshi could have easily taken the next deal by Dev to leave the place or sold it to someone else with even greater profit. Like Bijoy said, "Ek hi jagah hai kya dilli mein?"
Of course not, but destiny has played its part here. .and now
Sonakshi wants to assure herself that she is over her bitter past, that it no more matters to her who she shares her office with as long as it is profitable for business.
She forgets the routine problems which will come on facing Dev's challenges everyday would do no good to her business either.
But she wants to prove a point. That Dev is a closed chapter of her life. Also, she wants to show it to him that he was wrong. He was wrong that she was incapable of achieving anything.
How beautifully life comes to a full circle na. Once she was ousted from the house, now she has come to that office as an owner. Like Sam pointed out in the other thread that day, once vicky was the reason she lost her house and now through vicky, she claimed her pride back.
- Dev flirting with Paro-Meeta ( It was too funny😆)
- Dev looking at her while she stands on the table instructing everyone (Is this even a indian show, how the hell she did not fall in his arms there😲😆)
- Dev dropping the coffee mug on hearing Sonakshi Bijoy Bose.
- Dev promising vicky the entire business if he ousts Sona of the office.
What all does this Indicate? Dev hates Sona? Is he over her completely?
I think every single instance above reveals how Dev is getting more and more affected by Sonakshi. Not her presence, but her indifference.
She has come to his building, how on earth is she so normal, robotic and strictly professional about him being there? Sonakshi, unlike her real and former self, rarely reacts to his presence. This is irksome for Dev. Obviously because having her infront of his eyes brings millions of memories before him. It affects him bitterly.
To see Sonakshi so indifferent to it all, not being angry, not hating him, is troubling Dev.
He badly wants to get a reaction out of her. Wants to see if she is also affected. Or should I say, he also wants a slight sadistic pleasure in seeing her hating him, being angry on him. He wants to enjoy her reactions.
Sonakshi is slaying at not giving any😆
Dev babu flirted with Paro Ji and got the perfect response from Sona.Mini Mission successful. Sonakshi may not be jealous but she was angry. Dev got a reaction anf he was happy😳😆
Dev was not romantically admiring her when she was doingthe office set-up but certainly was astonished to see how Sonakshi was capable of handling everything efficiently. How she evolved. Dev had loved her immensely but this aspect of her, business-oriented, was new for him too.
Did Dev drop the mug because he didn't like any other name apart from Dixit with sona? Because the reality of 'no-more-Mrs.Dixit struck him?
No.
But because Bijoy's name reminded him of all the hurtful moments that separated them. It all started with slapping Bijoy and escalated to her father being insulted out of their house,
He also recalled himself saying
"Ye ghas khila ke tum kabhi itne paise nahi kama paogi, kabhi loan nahi chuka paogi"
And there she was, standing in the same office building as a rightful owner. Proudly using 'Bijoy' as the middle name. In his office.
The precap was super mean but again, it was Dev trying to provoke Sona to not be blank, to make her angry and irrita red, to get her reactions plus he did not want to be reminded of that particular incident of his past, that would make him weaker and vulnerable to emotions. He certainly can't afford that.
Dev is man with a beautiful heart and someone with a good heart is always troubled with an upsetting and disappointing past where they know they were wrong.
Dev being dev wants to run away from this suffocating feeling. That he was left by Sonakshi. He doesn't want hr to have an upper hand in the equation they share even now.
He wants to run away from the fact that he still is hurt by how they separated. He hides it all by anger, hatred and his vagabond lifestyle. Now that his facade is slowly wearing off, he is desperate to get rid of the cause.
Best solution is to move Sonakshi out of vision, without compromising his own ego because that would again mean he let his guards off.
So what he did next was promise vicky everything just for moving her out. I bet he did not even think that vicky was capable of doing it or not or that vicky could go dangerously close to harming Sona to achieve the task.
I have a hunch that vicky who has been given a tasty bait, will do something that might harm Sona. And then we might see a very vulnerable Dev. For the first time.
