A 15 days of time being spent together is good to form a bond.
Also they were quiet comfortable with each other's presence. Within this 15 days, Dev had already confided in her that his ex-wife had broken her heart and left him(Shruti said something similar). their comfort level was evident when he casually said'let's sleep' . there was just 1 bed...

Also Shruti did look like a decent girl till now.

I think this is a casual relationship where I feel they're sleeping together. She doesn't seem like cheap girl & he did not have any problem about her hugging or touching him. Plus he casually tells her to got to sleep!

He only got edgy when she started talking about love& commitment!

I don't know if Vicky has originally send Shruti 15 days back to Dev but yeah this girl already talks about been in love with Dev that is lies and he knows this too

Vicky's statement was very clear that Dev has never crossed his limits and both Vicky and ex GKB are both worried if Dev and Sona meet again which means they know that Dev may still love Sona
