In the after leap track of Ekta Kapoor and other shows where a small kid is introduced, the male protagonist is shown ruthless, careless about people of outside world and family, insensitive & as someone with temper always high with no nonsense nature (means that e turns back to what he initially was before heroine entered into the frame) & the female protagonist is shown as independent working woman with a bit of look change & also the change in the nature with bit maturity living happily with the kid and being helped by another man. Rest of the old characters remain unchanged as far as their nature is concerned.
Now this is the first show where they have changed the whole character of the hero. Sona's look is being changed only. She has always shown her professional and serious side in the show as a nutritionist too. But Dev, what a makeover from a serious, no non-sense businessman (he was never ruthless as typically shown) to this mawali type look. Seriously he exchanged look with Vicki. I still can't believe what they have done to this character.
And as for Ishwari, a mindblowing makeover from always pondering mum to complete mum and depressed one. Supriya Ji is a great actress but right now her character makes me hate it to the core.
No offence but a man looks true man or gentleman only in formals. That is my view. Formal give this completely different impression to a man. Since I have seen Devrath Dixit in formals always, so I can't accept Devrath Dixit in this new look. I could accept his casanova image or nature but not look. Kasam also had Rishi's makeover from a fun-loving boy wearing jackets-jeans to stern business-man wearing formals & that change looked nice.
while Anant always looked nice in casuals, Jacket, bike, T-shirt & phateli jeans.
Well this show is bound to get high TRPs at this time slot as Yeh rishta is doomed show, Ek tha Raja is doomed too. Swabhimaan is a newbie & Badho Bahu is not that popular. So very less competitors to compete.
