But if contract renews, then they can put down their papers. And i guess they will.

Exactly, I have a feeling Shaheer will run back to Indo, after this show ends, only to never do an Indian show ever again. Also, Erica doing something like this in her first show only, will kind of get her such stereotypical roles only. I feel so bad for them, this is definitely not what they signed up for yaar! I still remember how excited Shaheer used to be initially for the show and used to say you'll go to sleep with a smile on your face and the way to present the show is different. 😭

On the other hand , I strongly feel and I'm pretty sure that none of the leads will leave the show , in fact I feel both will definitely renew their contracts and stick with the show till the very end , because they're actors and unhe acting se matlab hai. If they get fresh new looks and new character arcs to try their acting muscles on ( for e.g. Shah has never before donned the character of a Casanova , so he'll probably jump at the idea . ) , Eri getting a new western look , and getting to play a careerist woman , self-dependent single mom in today's world , She's also probably celebrating it.

Only the old loyal viewers care about the story consistency , original themes etc. That's the true fact.

When YHM brought such a disasterous leap , none of the leads left even though they're playing parents to grown up adults. 😆

It's actually quite true what you've said. Maybe the actor's know how to not expect much from the storyline and obviously they're aware of how this industry works, and it's only a means to showcase their versatile acting skills. It's actually only the viewers who are attached to the story. But somehow I've always felt otherwise with regards to Shaheer, since he's always been vocal about his disappointment in regards to a particular track or his character even. Also from his initial interviews he used to always be happy with the way the story used to shape up.
