After seeing yesterdays story on the circumstances leading to the slap, I am convinced that Dev and Sona need some time away from each other. They need to re evaluate their priorities in life. The fact is that though they love each other intensely, they belong to very very different families and they may never ever be able to build the bridge between his mum and her parents. Hence, all this will undoubtedly lead to a separation. I also have a feeling that this incident may irk bijoy so much that he may have a heart attack or something (remember at the beginning of the story we were told he is a heart patient). I think he will be the one who will bring Dev and Sona together again.
I really hope that the next dhamaka that comes should be the pre nup. If ishwari was so worried about her daughters all this while then why did she never express the same. Is it that Dev is not actually her son (Like the old Aruna Irani Anil kapoor movie called Beta) and he knows it and just feels indebted to her for treating her like her son. Did she spot the spark in him in childhood and used him and emotionally manipulated him so that he takes care and ensures a better financial life for them.
Remember even in the initial episodes, she is not willing to get him married - in fact is not willing to talk about Dev's marriage also.
I personally would not have forgiven my husband had he been so disrespectful to my father... ever. But then this is a serial where promises given and mistakes made are forgotten easily 😊
