I am liking simple and subtle progression of their love story. Dev is scared of losing her and i feel he will be very protective about her. And Sona is like a breath of fresh air in his life. Her simple concern filled a void in his life. As you mentioned he never intended to change his life but Sonakshi has brought some new colors to his life. Like when she asked Aapne khana khaya, it was a simple sentence but did wonders for Dev. It was like someone is there for him.

Lets see what happens next and who propose first.
