For me it was completely a black mailing and threatening to the parents.

So completely agree in what all you said.

Respect for your wife can't be earn vicky on knifes peak.

It was clear blackmailing for staying in the house. later on also he went to dev as RR told him to manaofy Dev so that he dont throw them out. It shows it was blackmailing and not taking stand.

Biwi ke liye stand lene ke liye kuch to khud ka hona chahiye. Ghar dev ka, job dev ki, udhar chukane dev ke paise wo bhi churake, bed room dev ki. Bus ma ko ghar chodane ki dhamaki dena is not called taking stand for wife. He just said it to RR because he knows that she will not send him out. It can not be at all called taking stand for wife.

I concur. There is nothing in there for Dev to learn. If there is a role model for Dev its his father in law as a husband. Otherwise he can just work on his flaws and he will be fine.

Bada aya stand lene. Dhamki deke gaya maa ko.. Stand kena tha na toh usidin leta jis din ph pe baat karte hue gkb ne suna tha.. When she is talking about phasao and all.. Tab toh ek lafz nhi nikla.. Itna bhala bura bolke gayi thi..

U know just leave it vikky iss layek bhi nhi ki usko leke baat kare

Vicky will not even go till the corner of the road with Elena if he is asked to leave Dixit house ...he will say bye bye to Elena,his true love .

And Dev will kick Sona out if amma jee raises an eyebrow and denies halwa to him ! Just kidding just kidding !

I am somehow very pissed with Dev after his aunty/ birthday fiasco and my frustation is coming out ! I really used to like the guy in the first 100 episodes and understood his situation in breakup as well but since marriage, just not able to tolerate his character and his OTT devotion for his family treating his wife as a piece of object that he has the right to sacrifice for their illogical and wrong demands.

Well Ammaji was not happy when he called Asha as Maa again but that did not stop Dev from correcting his mistake .Ammaji was not happy when Sona made a scene with Ayan yet Dev supported her .I am sure in future if Dev is asked to leave his home with his wife he won't abandon Sona on roads but Ishwari is no fool to kick the only earning member out of the house or put condition like it's Sona or me in This home .

Not just Dev Sona has joined the sacrifice club infact she is step ahead and is not seen sharing things with her spouse .Today she scarifised her room for her sister tomorrow mother and wife will make Dev give up his entire wealth for Vicky Baba .Mom will blackmail him with old ehsaan and Sona might support because of her sister .So all in all Devakshi are in their selfless mode
