Thanks for sharing! I understand that they need to dramatize the reality but Ishwari's obsession and her interference looks too OTT when she is shown to be a otherwise good mother and now she is hellbent on destroying the life of her son.

The case you shared also had some other undercurrent to possibly explain the mother's behavior. May be the mother had a clue about the boy's true sexuality and she had married him off because of the sociaty's pressure but was trying to prevent the girl from finding it out sooner so they stay married or something. Just a theory !

But again, I am not able to put any logic behind Ishwari's inconsistent behavior. In the first 100 episodes, she did not want him to get married to concentrate on his career and that was understandable but now she has become so obsessed with him that is beyond creepy. She is not a clear vamp either like Mamaijee (who BTW also has a clear financial motive) so her behavior is beyond my understanding. Again, not much life experience so not sure if I have yet to see it !

Thanks again for your post! Has anyone else see a character like Ishwari who is otherwise loving but destryoying the lives of her loved ones ? What is her end game?
