There is a saying in Hindi which I have been hearing from my parents ever since I was born
"Ek nakta sari duniya ko nakta karna chahta hai"
Nakta means 'someone whose nose is cut'
Literal meaning: Someone whose nose is cut wants everyone's nose to bleed or be cut.
Basically this saying means Someone who is being disrespected (as nose is commonly associated with prestige) enjoys bringing other people down to his level. He/she would want all the world to be disrespected too.
Not only respect, it also means Someone who has his life ruined would want everybody's life to be ruined similarly.
They used this saying to alert me and keep me away from bad company but I see it so applicable to Neha here.
Sorry, if I am being very harsh here but clearly Neha has suffered a lot in her married life (obviously she was also at fault for her no-compromise attitude), She always wanted Ranveer to live separately from his family, to give her the attention keeping his family at one side and that never happened.
So subconsciously, she wants the exact same thing to happen with Sonakshi. She never got 'we-time' with Ranveer so she gets irked when she sees Sonakshi getting it.
Because Sonakshi is so easily able to spend some exclusive time, out of the family ,which Neha failed to get, she thinks it is some devious plan of Sonakshi and decides on her own to seclude her from the family.
Her taunts were never ending and we knew she was jealous but now she is moving a step ahead to not see devakshi happy.
Had she simply let GKB call Sona, it would have made it clear to Sonakshi that the family was also planning something. But, very clever Nehađ
She was so sure that Sonakshi was upto something and intentionally kept her out of the Dixit preparations, as if Sonakshi is some witch doing black magic to keep Dev away from her dear Mom, oh and to add the dear Mom whom Neha never even liked before this.
Anyway, what irked me even more is that Dev has already arrived home and no one is bothered about Sonakshi's whereabouts.
What about the safety song you kept harping that day Ishwari? Okay, to give them benefit of doubt they might have thought Sona is at Bose house, but still it is her husband's birthday celebration, how weird it is to celebrate and cut cake without his wife's presence, that too when it is the very first year and she lives in the same house? That is basic rule of the family right? I mean how can you exclude her from such an eventful day just like that?
So glad that Sonakshi and Dev decided to put aside their differences as these petty matters should never ruin your special days which may never come back. I know the loops of the fight weren't closed again but glad that Bijoy also made Sonakshi realise that old habits die hard and aren't as easy to change. Dev was extremely sorry as well.
Not only I felt bad for Sonakshi, also felt embarrassed. Being dressed up like this and waiting for your husband to come, standing outside a restaurant is surely very embarrassing. Not for one or two minutes but for 1.5 hours. She was so excited, she stopped the waiter to tell him Dev was comingđ
Not only Sonakshi, even Dev was very much eager to spend some quality time with Sonakshi. Poor Soul, he was shocked to see the preparations in the house. Aarti and all the emotional stuff being thrown on his face, obviously he cannot refuse.
How on earth do phone batteries die at the wrong timeđ Dev could still excuse himself before the clock struck 12, for some minutes, to pick sona up if he couldn't call.
But the episode hasn't aired yet so can't question his way of tackling the situation. Emotionally stuck he is too.
Hats off to Sonakshi to be so understanding for Devđ (referring to the segment) Girls as understanding as this are rarest of rare. Dev you are one lucky fellow and you should know thatđ
