Similarities

Both are ... equally dependent on their mothers
Their mothers worship them...pamper them... fight for them
Both of them need their space
Both of them selectively hide things from mothers
Both of them claim to love someone but happily lie
Lies n fake happiness are a habitual part of their life
Both think money is the solution of all problems
Both resort to drinks wen disturbed
Both have anger problems that are destructive for others
Both are the only son for their mothers
Both threatened when they saw their love interest was not gonna b theirs anymore
Both are stalkers too


Differences
Dev uses refined language while Vicky uses low grade language
Dev is a CEO by his own due to his own efforts while Vicky is not
Dev is a 1 woman man and Vicky is narrated as a player

Does this alone qualify for a person to be a good catch for a woman?

For me a man is a man when he can stand for what he claims or is vocal about -a man of his words
Unfortunately.. even in today's world - should I say practical world - EDUCATION and MONEY (Status) Alone becomes the most important ingredient for a marriage than their behaviour
When will this thought process ever change in our society
Many of my friends say white lies don't really affect.. well for me it does...
And it does the damage of a physical hurt - sometimes even more

So basically marry someone whom u feel won't force themselves on u even if they seem to crush you in all ways by expecting you to accommodate and understand them and their family which obviously you are not part of !!! Sighhh!!!!

Vicky is not mama's boy ,have guts to stand against his mother for wife but he lacks loyalty. He is a playboy and drunkkard too dev is not drunkard .its tv serial world he may turn positive also. Bt in real life people like vicky won't change that easily. Kyuki unki niyat hi kharab hoti hai by chance agar wo na badle toh


Life will be miserable with dev.but life with vicky will be miserable, horrible, pathetic etc.

Vicky aur dev k postive sides ek hi bande mein mil jaye life zigalala.which is rare.

I think with Vicky he is more readable... Elena is a fool or being shown the fool for thinking that Vicky has changed. Dev is not so readable due to his more refined outlook... Sona is actually a fool to believe all that Dev says. Dev made so many promises and has not yet fulfilled any one of them. Can anyone name one promise fulfilled?

Today I will say it. I feel really bad for Sona, or for any girl in Sona's place. It is hell having a husband like Dev. Except for once, when Sona the nutritionist was in the kitchen with GKB, Dev has not stood up for his wife by passing a clear message to his family that they should respect her for what she is - a loving and sacrificing human being, and now part of him.

I tweeted during the show yesterday that Dev has not realised the value and worth of his wife. she is a true gem, almost difficult to find in real life. I have seen people like Dev are for real but is Sona for real? I have not seen one in my lifetime. Blessed is the girl, who in real life is like Sona! (If on this forum, please contact me urgently so that I can think of making you my DIL, and no, there is no Ishwari in my family. We are like the Bose household. Absolutely carefree! 😊 😊

on the other hand, Dev needs help. he can be reformed. There are things that Sona needs to let go, and a few that she needs to imbibe. she too is on the learning curve, but yeah amongst the trio her learning curve is most flat one.

what exactly does Sona need to let go off in the current situation. It is about context. if at all she has to let go, it may be Dev himself!!!😊😊

Sona does not have a problem with Dev. she has a problem with dependencies of Dev on his mother and his unbridled affection for his own family, of which Sona is still not a part, very clearly. So if Sona says something to Neha, or to his mom, he will llke a roaring lion devour her up...
