I did not compare their character traits at all!

Please don't get me wrong!

Mr. Darcy is like a hero to me!

Trust me, no one else can take his place!

All I meant were the way Dev was introduced into the serial, his appearance traits and how the Devakshi love story evolved!

And no need to be sorry!

Everybody has their own opinions!😃😃

And yes we are all disappointed greatly!

But I have full faith that CVs will solve it properly and in the right way!😉

Darcy might have been arrogant, but he was righteous to the core. he will go to any extent to fulfull his wishes, but NEVER once insulted his love . he is a man of honour, whereas we dont get to see that in Dev. Darcy did offend liza and insulted her but the minute he recognised that his love for her is far higher than the societal norms, he leaves no stone unturned to rectify them.

Dev is no where on the path to redemption, i cant watch this character being butchered so badly.

And I absolutely do not have any problem if you want to be harsh!

All of us were disappointed yesterday.

His character did not begin like this. He was a very different character when the show began.

I meant that phase too dear!

Right from his introduction to their falling in love.

After that his character took a drastic turn, mostly for the worse!

That is where the comparison ends.

Darcy will be Darcy.

Noone else can ever take his place :)

Before break up Dev was different. Post break up his character has been butchered.

I only referred to the appearance traits, the way he was introduced into the show and the way their love story developed!

Darcy will be Darcy!

No one can take his place!

What Sona said was that first impressions were that of Mr Darcy. But like you said, as you get to know Dev, he is no Mr Darcy

Also, doesn't Pride and Prejudice get introduced by grade 8 or 9? How come Dev skipped English Literature

Thanks for this post Mishti... And for letting people like me know who Mr Darcy is 😳.. I was wondering who he is after watching yesterday's episode and now will research more on the character 😆.
