Just for a moment exchange position of Neha and Sona. Isn't Dev doing the same thing to Sona what Neha is going thru. Many of you may not agree with this but in simple terms Neha is not getting what she expected from Ranveer but her in laws are loving. The worst is the case with Sona- Dev is not fulfilling her expectations and on top of that she has to face the taunts manipulations of Ish, GKB and all cunning Vicky.

Whatever Dev may say, as the head of the family he should've taken control of the family instead of leaving it to Ish to spoil everyone's life and afterwards crying " Is ghar main koi nahin he mera"

His actions and the way he was irritated all shouted at the top of their voice that this guy is feeling damn helpless...He so want things to be in other way in least possibility...

And yeah his dialogue mere ghar mein mera Kuch hai Kya...shows his deep routed pain...Nothing is his..not even his decision and his life...

That's what had calmed down Sona today...

She could feel that Dev was equally affected by all this ...

She always wanted her Dev to support her and be with her mentally and he is there for her today and that's why he became his strength...

Loved those few moments.. they meant a lot.

Dear Survika - you are absolutely right. This was exactly the feeling I got. I don't personally think cancelling Honeymoon was a wrong thing. Yes it was sad for both, more for Sona, but this can easily happen in real life. If your married sister comes back to Maayaka, no one in the family would think about their son's honeymoon, the whole house would be thinking how to solve the sister's problem. That would be the response of an Indian family, and frankly what is a honeymoon in front of your sister's whole life. Honeymoon is important but it can happen at a later date too.

But what is really sad is that Dev really does not get anything for his own self. Most of the times, even when he wants something for himself, the things get twisted or manipulated in a manner that he does nit have a choice but to compromise. Obviously there are times (normal times) when he should try to rectify that imbalance, for example on Dussehra when they had already eaten at Bose house, Dev could have in featherly soft manner tried to drop that hint, instead he chose to tell Sona that she won't understand and brought back old times and their sufferings. So there are times when he can act differently, but he simply chooses to act as per his conditioning.

So whether he chooses or not, he is the one who has to compromise. His life is not his own at all, and the life that is not his own. how can he gift it to someone else i.e. Sona. 😕 So obviously as long as Dev's happiness can be compromised, Sona's happiness would be compromised

here stands a man that never did anything for himself all he ever did was please his family provide for them which is correct from a son's stand now he takes that chance of having some fun and happiness with his wife but is told that his sister's marriage is going through a storm yes his immediate answer will be cancell the HM because he knows even though both he and Sona were excited she been his wife will stand by him they are one so taking this decision he hurts himself but gives peace of mind to his family he is in a difficult situation its not easy to forego family issues and pain but he does

Dev was broken again by his past. He was guilty for not being a good brother and husband as well. Some might not agree with his actions but whatever he did in that moment was justifiable. And apart from sona, he has no one in Dixit house.
