I find it really sad that the character makers wanted us to empathize with, understand and relate to her insecurities.. has become a point of ridicule and disgust!!!!!
Ishwari could have easily been the greatest mom on Indian TV.. given her backstory and her accomplishments with all her flaws! and given Supriya's talentš
CVs have really lost it with this "insecurity" stuff. Majority of viewers don't see a loving mother/son relationship that has stood the test of time. but see a mother who is manipulative & controls her devoted, sacrificing, loving, caring son's happiness, sadness and his very existence. Being a mother, daughter, and daughterinlaw... I find nothing I can relate to in this creature who is touted as a "mahaan maa" š” I see no actions of Ishwari as a loving, nurturing mother to any of her kids. Her (fake) love for Dev seems to be more of a jealous GF or wife than a motherš
CVs have succeeded in creating the most disgusting character on Indian TVš her smile, her pursed lips while she is thinking or saying or doing evil.. emotions that no other fictional character has invoked in meš the PURSED lips of Ishwari, every time she is talking to Dev, Sona or Mamaajee, bother me soo much that I googled body language and there it was...
PursedLips which are pulled inwards from all directions are an indication of tension and may indicate frustration or disapproval. Pursed lips are a classic sign of anger, including when it is suppressed. It is effectively holding the mouth shut to prevent the person saying what they feel like saying. This may also be an indication of lying or withholding the truth as the person stops themselves from telling the truth. Pursed lips can also indicate a person who is thinking and who is deciding between possible options. Deciding and disapproval are both evaluative actions, which is the common core of lip-pursing. |
