I LOVED the date. It had cheese written all over it xD. But the very fact that it was Sona who sweeped Dev off his feet(not literally obviously xD) and made him feel special seals the deal for me. I was tired of watching guys doing this all the time in shows. So it was a breath of fresh air <3 And SR is done too finally. Phew. Even though it so 1960s I'm happy its done. All the delay was getting on my nerves.
PS. As much as I love DevAkshi and ShaRica's chemistry. This platonic romance is too much to suck up for a married couple. No need to roll off each other all the time. No. Don't need that. But passionate hugs some forehead kisses a random cheek kiss doesn't kill anyone. DevAkshi's story in terms of married couple is also kinda stuck and has randomness. Please I really want the CVs to end tje platonic attyachar. They even freaking stand one arm apart while conversing -_____-

yes, even I feel the same, the distance is intentional. During the initial phase of marriage we have seen beautiful transition from GF-BF to Wife- husband. Their actions and gestures were so apt. But from last few episodes there is something missing. And we are not demanding some explicit intimate scenes, many things can be shown by simple hand holding, cupping of face, resting in one's lap, ooh i can go on and on and editing has to be smart. But as you said may be makers are focusing more on drama. Sharica has such a raw chemistry that it can create wonders with these small things.

About whose problem it is, I cannot say much. From my previous show i have learnt that off screen things can affect on screen a lot. Sharica are professional, but actors do have some clauses in their contracts which we will never know. Its cvs job to show it wisely. Lets hope whatever it is they at least present it in a good way.
