Today my blood literally boiled. Dev and Sona's romantic moments are not doing it for me any more.

1. Ishwari to Mamaji: Sona belongs to another family. Don't talk to her about Neha. She will spread it outside.

Me: Of course she belongs to another family. She belongs to Dev's family who is not your family. Because obviously you think he should slave for you like a servent while all of you bloodsuckers can claim your share from his success.

2. Neha to Sona: You are so lucky, Bhabhi. You can do whatever you want. My luck is not like yours.

Me: Neha, thank whatever God you believe in that you don't have the bad luck of Sona. You are not stuck with your psycho mother as your neurotic in-law.

3. Mami to Sona: It's just been four days since you came here. Why do you want to interfere? What do you know about this family?

Me: Watching Neha's expression, I think she is thinking that Sona is not as lucky as she thought.

4. Ishwari to Sona: There's a difference between Vicky and others. He is Dev's brother.

Me: No. Mamaji is your brother. Vicky is Dev's cousin. And why does he get free pass that Dev didn't get?

Sona to Ishwari: We wanted Vicky to get a job with his hard work, not because he is Dev's brother.

Ishwari to Sona: Hard work? Sonakshi, Dev has worked hard all his life so that his brothers and sisters don't have to. That is Neha, Riya, Nikki and Vicky.

Me: So you actually mean that Riya should earn her way up but Vicky should get free pass? So do tell, is there any other double standard between Dev's brother and sisters that she should be aware of? Should Neha get more or less than Nikki?

Sona, are you noting down the double standards? You will find yourself on the wrong end of it soon.

Precap:

Dev to Ishwari: Yes, I discussed it with Sonakshi.

Ishwari to Dev: But we had a discussion too. That Vicky will work with you, not for you.

Me: Ishwari, you could not be any more idiot. Everyone, including the owner of a company works FOR the company WITH each other. Even a server works FOR the company WITH everyone else. If you don't know business, why don't you keep your mouth shut like you advised Sona?

Ishwari to Dev: So from now on would you start consulting your wife before giving job to your brother?

Dev stunned.

Dev (in my imagination): I am not sure what you mean, Maa. I consulted with my wife who is a smart and intelligent woman and my life partner. She suggested that I give Vicky the same opportunity I gave Riya. I thought that was a good idea and I appointed Vicky on the same post as her. I don't understand why giving Vicky the same treatment as Riya is upsetting you.

I hope the actual Dev lives up to my imagination tomorrow.

I wanted Sona to highlight the fact to Ish that Ria also joined as trainee...but she left this obvious explanation out 😡. So even I hope Dev gives some btr explanation tomm...n not become speechless. N I also want to see Ria's reaction on trainee = peon

Ish has always been so protective abt Dev's company n Ish very well know how Vicky is...then why she wants to harm the business.

Atleast good part in all this drama is Ish has told Dev she doesnt like Dev discussing family matters with Sona. Dev shud a get a hint of what Ish thinks abt his wife.

He has to..he has sen enuf now..not one but thrice in a row sona and his relationship had been brought into trashes by his mummy ..if he s the real dev dixit who has been no shit man, he ll hav tk speak loud to that old lady saying please shut d eff up and don't define what did I discuss with my wife and what not...dis s d limit ...if not he has no bloody right to convince his wife abt his undying love for her..

Hope ur imagination of Dev's response becomes true tomorrow. Really hope he shields Sona from all the bs his mother is spewing on her for no reason.

Sona has ZERO confidence in front of Ishwari. It's like Ishwari is Kryptonite who sucks out all confidence out of her. And that's because she worries what will happen if Ishwari again tells Dev to throw her out of his life. That's why I wanted Sona to wait before getting married so that this time she doesn't leap before she thinks. But she didn't want to wait.

Ishwari behaves as if she is the sole owner of Dev's company that she lets Dev run on her behalf. That's why she makes demands and not requests to Dev when it comes to company decisions.

Even if Dev gets hint of what his mother thinks about Sona, he won't believe it. Because then he will think how his mother begged to get Sona back in his life and how she gave up her wishes at the wedding to see him happy etc etc.

Again, it all comes back to Sona should not have agreed for marriage because of Ishwari's pleading which I said then in my post. I also wrote, if she agrees, she won't ever know if Dev will ever take her side over Ishwari and again that's proven right.

Well, time will tell. But it seems when his mother taunts about his wife, he doesn't seem to get it. He actually believes Ishwari loves Sona.

Hey Tia.. This is Archana and read your posts regularly.. Most of your thoughts resonate with me too!!

But I do find your analysis very critical! I don't agree with the way the tracks dialogues go sometimes but I do feel this is pretty realistic!

It takes a long time for women/men to integrate into the other's family and for the families to accept the DIL/SIL as well.. Of course there are exceptions wherein the gelling happens effortlessly but then for a daily serial that won't provide the masala!

Till date I have never been so angry at dev or even ish..today she crossed all limits...if not dev I want sona to do d honours ..koi to bajao..ish s destroying her son's company herself ...just for her bloody ego...

bang on! i agree.. these lollipos are getting boring now. Devakshi are behaving like a couple in college. vs. a married couple in love

Neha's words.. "aap apni marzi kaa kar sakti ho" will come back to haunt. Sonakshi will say it back to her in coming days..mera na pati pe haq hai, na ghar pe, na kichen pe, na gharwaalon pe, na is ghir ki benefit ke liye koi faisla lena ka. haq hai to sirf taane and insults ka😡 how many taunts and insults did you get in Raveer's house???? Sona should ask her "did your MIL keep you and Ranveer away from each other?" "Did she plot and plan to keep you from consummating your marriage?"

This is wishful thinking. Dev will stand redeemed for me if he does say this to Ishwari tomorrow. Hope the CVs for once use the sisters for something more than adding frivolity and we see Riya upset over the differential treatment meted out to her.
