That was unexpected to be writing an analysis actually.
I happened to have come across this post, and I was thinking the same for once that Dev probably is $x deprived.
But then, I know it's not just lust that is making him behave this way, there's a predetermined psychology of Dev's mind behind that, plus, it's crude to be calling him $exually frustrated, because it's not just Sona's body he is dying for, it's the love to the level of finality that he wants to reach along with her.
So, this analysis was precisely the journey of my own mind coming to the conclusion from the thought of him being a $ex deprived to a wholly loving husband.
I never realized that I was going on in my flow until I posted this. 😆
But I am really glad to read such loving responses from you all...

And to make Sona read this, well I can assure you on this, though she keeps on saying men having a one track mind, she still knows Dev in and out... Better than his mother knows her own son... And I don't think, even in the heat of the moment if she said -"Achha toh aapko isliye bura lag raha hai ki aapko 9 din aur wait karna padega.", she meant to call him a lustful hungry man.
She understands his needs as much as she knows her needs.
And it comes to the first line of my analysis, that because she is not verbal, doesn't mean she is not frustrated with their consummation getting delayed. It's just that she has the habit of quietly enduring everything until she is at her breaking point.
But, I know, Sonakshi is great at managing, and she will surely manage out their moment of love making.
Nothing an issue enough to be called a problem... 😃

Just because Sona is taking it quietly, she is not verbal about her frustrations.
While Dev has been through and through verbal about what he wants right from the day before the marriage.

So a night before marriage, then they fought on their wedding night, then Sona slept in other room, then Dev had to go to drop DB, four nights in a row he wasn't able to get what he wanted, he was already sulking on day four.
His expectations were for a night with his wife, he had been waiting for the past four nights.
Obviously when you expected something and didn't get it, plus won't get for the next nine days, he is deffo gonna get frustrated, coz it would be 2 weeks since his marriage, and he is just not getting that.
It is the case of a physical emotional desire, had it been anything else too, Dev would get this frustrated only. He is a go getter, and he strives for what he wants, and he gets it. When he wants something, he gets it with hardwork, passion and sometimes his anger works too...
Here it's just not the matter of a physical desire he wants to get, even love is involved.. He loves his wife like crazy. He is getting frustrated on her for excluding him from a decision that involves his emotions too., but another fact is, he just can't walk out on her because she inevitably fell into trying to imbibe his customs. He had already made this mistake of walking away from her just the day before when Saurabh returned the keys, and today he repeated it again.
He understands that she is a newly wedded bride , she herself is going through loads of emotions, and then he got angry and left her, she has come to her parents place to overcome that upset mood, and all that is because of his anger, though he still feels she should not just fall prey to customs when they are harming her actually.

If I haven't said this earlier: Dev I love you for the way you are balancing, not just between your mother and wife, but also balancing between the emotions of wanting to be a husband in every sense of the word and still being your wife's best friend and lover. You are a bundle of love Dev. If anyone learnt a good lesson from the hardships of breakup or not, you really learnt the best lesson, and you don't take your wife for granted, no matter how frustrated you are. You are not just the best son or brother or lover or person, you are the Bestest husband in making, and if Lord blesses you and your wife , you will be the greatest father as well... Coz you really are such a nice person...
No wonder Sonakshi loves you so much. you are that deserving to be loved..
