Yes ofcourse it usually happens in some families. In my case, i flew with my husband to abroad soon after marriage , so nt a big problem for me but still wen ever v r with in laws, mil used to b very keen in making coffee for my husband so i'll jst tell her "maa, if u r making coffee, then make that for 2 so i don hav to make one for myself ". 😆

Same pinch!! 😆 there is nothing wrong...even if our mom was making a cup of coffee or tea for dad then if we needed one , we would do the same...I treat them just like my parents in all aspects...no difference at all...

where is the need to show that if we know cooking or not.I avoid all such conflicts just by avoiding kitchen. O just bring food and she cooks.when she will not than we bring from outside.I know cooking but i s too tired
Or @ least don try to compete with in laws soon after marriage. If mil wants to make breakfast, let her do..u can take rest or jst sit in the kitchen n watch or jst support u'r mil. If that's a possessive stubborn mil like Ishwari, then sona beta ,u need to use u'r brain instead of heart
