Reason I would say ...TRP and commercial value...require to sustain...not just stay afloat...now the TRP is also increasing ...so what we understand is there are ONLY very few ppl who liked this as a matured love story with out much drama ...and every aspect had a touch of goodness to it...and felt nice...but TRP was low...now TRP has increased ...shows the mindset of ppl watching TV and what they need from daily serials...they are giving as per viewers demand...same old demand and supply theory I guess !!

i am sorry but i disagree... first of all it was never portrayed as a matured love story...it was a story of two lovers and how a mother is a problem... during the launch only producers have told that it is a same old story but the treatment given to it is much more realistic and easy to connect... and i believe they are doing it very nicely... they are not dragging any track, justifying every action and it is very simple and crisp show... little drama they will show coz it is television not real life... they have to show little drama...

Drama to some extend is fine...
But to show no respect for elders,
Mother insulted by calling a widow...
Disrespect to other cultures... etc
Absolutely crap

Well I think its too early to say that. Yes of course it is not the same but not spoiled yet. Though I know a bit where it is going.

Absolutely. The marriage rituals,Widow insult, cultural discrimination, misinterpretation of important legal aspects (Pre Nup) inconsistent charecterisation and so on and so forth all these things made the serial a typical Family drama that has nothing to boast about now. But can't help but watch.

i disagree..this show is close to reality even in todays world in our customs widow should not participate in any of the rituals of her own childrens marriage, it is considered as abshagun(though i dont like it ) even life is not same as always ups and downs r there though its a fiction it needs some drama the main plot is going to start after marriage lets wait and watch

Sad.But have to agree.Still the caste discrimination prevails in India. If a Widow wears a color saree. She is seen as some characterless women.Widows not included in any good things. These things prevail in certain section of society.Honestly I hate these things n I hope it changes soon.

CV's showed it what happens in society.Other show these things with too much OTT drama. Here they showed it like how normally happen.Less drama.

Pre-Nup can be alien concept. But we cannot be sure it does not exist in India.May be some top business family could have followed Pre-Nup.May be we r not aware it.I hope they handle it well this track n do some good research. Before this track opens.

agree. it is more close to reality than other shows. however, whole wedding track has gone the "typical" show way. if it was sooo close to reality... then the two sides would have sat down and talked about customs and traditions.. like in reality.. esp. in intercaste marraiges. none of that happened. each side assumed others (bengali vs. UP) to know their traditions. pehle hi itne kaand ho chuke hain.. this was the easiest thing to do. BUT, for the sake of creating nonsense dramas to increase TRPs... all this crap was shown. Sona knowing Dev's mother and Dev knowing his own mother... they should have made their families talk... the two mothers!!!!

orthodox UP family vs. modern Bengali family... a recipe for disaster👏 but who cares.. it creates drama and hopefully delivers much needed TRPs😉
