Agree with all your points about the episode. Pre nup agreement drama was not enough, they had to have bua track and Sona not being able to have kids also in there. Desperate effort to throw in all possible problems that could create drama and raise the trp's.

2. Again, Elena, not knowing customs of the north because you were born and brought up in Kolkata is the most nonsense excuse ever. Also, holding an elder person's hand like that is equal to disrespect.

@bold
YES yes yesss...thankfully somebody read my mind.
that scene was too irritating ...aur usse bhi zyaada irritating Bejoy ka taunt tha where he calls warna ritual as ghatiya (cheap)
.chalo ,i understand elena ko nahi pata hoga but how can a man who is staying in Delhi ,usse ahi pata aur Sonakshi ko iss rasm ke baare mein pata hai.

He shud be thankful to Dev for allowing them to keep non veg in wedding.Otherwise ,brahmins ya jainis ke ghar in cheezon ka naam tak nahi liya jata.

i liked the episode but hated Elena and Bejoy.😡

Loved the post.Agree with all the points. Like all your posts so much. Need people like you who can frankly dissect and judge.
One of the worse Episodes badly directed, carelessly presented.
The main draw back is the song picturised on the leads.Absolutely stale and passionless.
Since so many episodes the spark is just not there between them. There is a disconnect.
Elena, crossed all the limits of indecency, disrespect towards elders and forgot where she stood.
Sona as usual giggling to the best of her ability Sorry to add her talk about the future children now
Did not make the scene endearing rather it is irritating.
Comparatively barring Vicky Dikshit family carried themselves with dignity including Dadi Bua.

Some one reminded the beautiful scene from Kutumb Khushi? Thanks. Liked that scene so much.
Pratham Gauri just rock together.

He is not at all conflicted, heck he doesn't think about baby even once even though they were married for good few months. He just keeps worrying about Gauri and when she talks to him about having a baby, he very lovingly explains to her "even though we don't ever have a child it doesn't matter to me. All I want is you. If you are with me, I don't want or need anything else. You complete me & I just want you to be with me always." BEST SCENE EVER!

True love is a rare thing. The first and only priority for the person who truly loves his better half would be the better-half herself, mahaan or not is not is out of question. It's about how many people love truly. Very few. Rest like Dev, just live for the society.

To begin with Dev is a human being . Human beings are social animals and live in a society. You cant take man away from society and it is the ultimate truth.

It is one thing to accept wife and her health issues but its whole different aspect when you longingly accept some one you are not even legally bound to . Dev's acceptance of Sona is selfless . He is ONLY thinking of her happiness and not even his mother. If he had then he would have backed out of marriage knowing her health issue. So for me a man who accepts a woman as who she is even before getting committed stands above all. Hence I feel Dev's love is pure.

Also comparing 2 different serials and their respective leads doesnt make sense because each story has different backdrops for the plot. And this discussion here is for KRPKAB. I cant understand why you made this post in this forum😕

I actually watched this show once upon a time (my bad) . Also, last I checked India-forums was open for everyone to comment, no? And why shouldn't I? I see people here hailing this show to no length as to how it's "unique", "different", "best" blah blah and how Dev is an "imperfect hawt saint"...heck that's offending to me. Dev is a loser. Period!

It's not important that I watch the nonsense before giving my opinion. Reading stuffs here is enough for me to be glad about the fact that the reasons that made me drop this show were legit. No amount of justifications can take away the fact that Dev is a big time loser. He always was and probably will always be. Lately Sona has gone down the drains too. I guess they are on the saas-bahu, pregnancy-misscariage dramatic $hit to fetch TRPs. So much for it being boasted as a unique show 😆

Isn't it amusing how Dev has suddenly become "selfless" dude just because he is ONLY thinking about Sona's happiness? Isn't his happiness in Sona's happiness? Than how exactly is he being "self-less" if he thinks about her happiness? Isn't Sona a part of his "self"? For ones who truly love, the person they love become an extended part of their 'own-self'. The difference between 'me & she' disappears. So Dev doesn't turn into a "selfless saint" (if he truly loves). I see with the infertility track people have already put him on the saint spot which he actually isn't. Can't blame them, Dev is their "hawt imperfect hero" but at least don't say that he loves Sona truly if you have to hail him as "self-less" just because he's worrying about Sona.

Anyway, a man who accepts his woman as who she is even before getting "legally committed" is not mahaan. He didn't do any ehsaan on her if he stood by her because he claimed to love her (if he truly did). You truly love the person you stand by them, duh! So that doesn't make Dev stand above all. Also the men who truly love, wouldn't even care about whether they are "legally committed" or not before standing by the person they love. No one can be legally bound to anyone. If there's true love, it'll be there irrespective of legal bound/marriage etc.. It's all in heart, if it's there it's there, if not than it's not there. True love is seldom dependent on such stuffs.

😊 Eloquently written I must say ...and ... well... highly philosophical too !! hmmm...not going to further debate on this...because after reading your posts in this thread , I feel that certain attributes of Dev's character is disturbing your thoughts ...so I leave it here ..take care !!
