She started seeing him in a different light after she heard from his teacher what kind of a man he is -selfless and self made man .

That was the beginning. .everyday she got a new reason to fall for this man .His caring nature,helpfull nature,his way of handling situation ,his love for his family and definitely there was physical attraction too .She felt it during their first dance.

It slowly transformed into something beautiful and it only amplified when she saw him wait for her for 5 long hours yet not complain .She finally realised when she saw him take care of her like a family .She realised her feelings for him .

How much he cares for the people around him. She always thought of Dev as a stingy uptight man. But then she saw how he took so gentle care of his sisters and mother, and I guess the highest point was where Dev held Sonakshi in his arms after she got hit by a car.
