How Dev has fallen in everybody's eyes. His ma speaks disappointedly and serves guilt in large doses to him. Mamaji has to tell him to pull his pants up and fight for his girl. Sonakshi doesn't even look at him the way she used to, with respect, pride and love. She keeps saying "Go away, I dont want you anymore "
What are you doing Dev?!
Why are you letting everyone bully you ?
Mamaji saw Ishwari is getting assertive in telling Dev to walk away from Sonakshi. He's buying time for Dev instead of being the oldest in the house and telling Ishwari off!!
Why are people pussy footing around Ishwari like she's made of glass?? No wonder GKB is envious. It's so annoying , she must not cook, because she will tire. She needs her own nutritionist because She wont eat properly. She must not stand because her foot will hurt. She must not be upset because poor baby will be emo. For a person who supposedly built her family from scratch, she's weak and needy. I can see why Ishwari's kids are poojafying her but why Mamaji? He has a responsibility to set Ishwari right, because hes the only one who can!!
My ma did a lot for my family as I grew up. She is tough as nails and is so independent. She has a dramatic emotional side too but keeps it within reason. And we love her immensely.
few conversational highs that made Dev rear back:
1. When Mamaji said, "Yes, your Mother is Everything, your whole life. Then is Sonakshi nothing to you then? "
He stopped to think, didn't like his answer to the Q, and went back to his default Ma Settings.
2. When Sonakshi asked him, "Shall I go tell your Mother that you're following Me? Maybe she can make you stop because you only hear her words in your head..."
Dev's expression was so flabbergasted.. He has fallen in her eyes. She doesn't respect him anymore. He stands there insisting / "advising" that she is wrongly jumping into marriage, and she won't listen. She doesn't even stop to talk, she just walks away. "You are nothing to me..."
What is Dev doing? If he wants her he has to win her back, by convincing her !! Now he's just pushing her further and further away by his possessive tactics. You don't command respect enough to advise her on her life decisions Dev!
Ritwik is correct in telling Bijoy. He knows and even may be generous enough to let Sonakshi and Dev work out their differences and patch up. I think he'll get them back together somehow.
Sonakshi is not her usual practical self. She is being bullied by Dev and she's being obstinate and rushing into marriage with innocent Ritwik. She won't listen.
Dev is not listening to his mother either. She scolded him and he continues to follow Sonakshi and Ritwik.
it's all spiralling out of control! The only sane person is Ritwik. He cant pull out of the alliance and dishonour Sonakshi. I believe he will put these two angry people back on track.
